24/6/2022 12:01 | 2023, year of significant ( as opposed to a few mill here and there) revenues as take up finally starts to come through.Sp will react positively, although all depends how many extra shares MR has sprinkled about as to what level we get to.Best option then would be a t/o imo. Hopefully at a decent premium. | astralvision
24/6/2022 11:38 | Depends what you mean Astral. Ethernity will sell to the OEMs well before deployment of private networks, probably 3-6 months. Mass production starts Q3-4 shipping Q4 (sales) to OEMs will be for Q1+ deployment; integrators may be immediate. Much depends how Ethernity are paid. OEMs will all be on separate agendas as will deployments globally. Largely it's true that Ethernity will be firstly in Private Networks and ISPs like North American WISPs that are deploying now. Later they will be in all networks as density is required and upgrades are needed on vendor locked systems | 504
24/6/2022 11:10 | As I said then, 2023 is the year. | astralvision
24/6/2022 11:01 | PaTT it is a total revolution as far as solutions go. What we need to be aware of is that although open private networks will commit and purchase the point of open is it's a design and pay as you grow idea. There will be no $50m headline committment. Each RU, each DU each transport challenge will be designed for the exact scenario. This is where the savings come. Initial sales will be small, certainly tens of units, although they may commit to $3m worth it will be open ended. The delay has been the OEMs supporting the product, now we know that they are and just in time. Sales will come but not until the market opens | 504
24/6/2022 10:58 | Could do with that share price bring incredible PaTT, that's incredible in a good way.Still waiting for 5G to call the bottom by converting their MR gifted $2m. I think DL get so wrapped up in the tech side of things MR is left with a free rein. | astralvision
24/6/2022 10:37 | Astral. I see it differently. H1 was incredible in all things except share price! The UEP2025 is the universal game changer. Plug in and play. As innovative as the MP3 as compared to the Walkman. | purchaseatthetop
24/6/2022 10:01 | PaTTYes, prediction or forecasting is a tricky game, ask ENET, they struggle to predict year end sales on New Years Eve!But then again if you predict enough things you're bound to be right at some point, especially if you insist you are never wrong! And if someone doesn't care, re take it or leave it, one might wonder why they bother posting in the first place!I'm happy to read all points of view, but the only thing that counts is $'ers and orders and newsflow. Good thing is second half can hardly be less than the first half!I'm optimistic for our prospects, I was the first to say back in January/February that 2023 would be a corker. I stand by that. Only prediction that's needed, imo. | astralvision
24/6/2022 09:45 | It seems obvious to me that Ethernity cannot sell anything until OEMs sell something. OEMs cannot sell anything until networks are in procurement. Clearly they have interest or they wouldn't be building products with Ethernity tech inside and we know that they are. So until interest turns to commitment we have nothing. Looking at Ethernity will tell you nothing. Speak to some likely OEMs and see what they think. Fujitsu for instance see a huge open private network market opening this year. Yes it may slip to Q4 or Q1 2023 but it is happening. OEMs like Fujitsu will be the type of OEM Ethernity will be selling into. Take it or leave it, I don't care | 504
24/6/2022 09:40 | dplewis you know nothing. | 504
24/6/2022 09:34 | You two. Well actually you Dplewis. There is nothing wrong with 504 saying what she thinks. Prediction is really difficult especially about the future. We know everything has been delayed by at least a year but we now have the units for mass adoption and production for networks that can only operate efficiently with Ethernity IP. I also expect a UEP2025 update Friday next week and then we are off and running. Just my view but I am as excited as hell despite the grief. | purchaseatthetop
24/6/2022 09:33 | Somewhere between the death warmed up view of dplewis, and the pot of gold at the end of an ever nearing rainbow view of 504, is some semblance of reality. I'm fascinated to see how this transpires, against a global recession and risk off in growth assets. | divmad
24/6/2022 09:26 | You say a lot of things Pinocchio, the nonsense is starting to smell again. Sitting in a sweaty caravan reflecting on interviews with Katie? Probably want to keep that sort of thing to yourself tbh | dplewis1
24/6/2022 09:21 | It's typical that Ethernity exceeds the performance of others by 2 or 3 times. Features like PoE, virtual router on NIC, bonded wireless technology, patent protected FPGA design and more port flexibility are gamechangers. Actual savings are huge and Ethernity will sell thousands of units quickly. However until it starts there will be nothing. 6 months ago I thought end June earliest. Ethernity are on schedule or even slightly ahead so my expectation remains. A DU sale could be 3-5000 units at a couple of thousand a piece. | 504
24/6/2022 09:16 | dplewis you are just sore because I said no news H1. You need to look at the market. It's absolutely apparent that the Private Networks market is about to open in Europe and North America. It also follows that prior to that decisions will be made about the selection of open solutions in their network. Ethernity will be on the list of compatible solutions as they are the only truly open solution range on the market. No other is open to all radios, no other can relocate and co-locate. No other can force the FPGA performance like Ethernity. You may not like it dplewis but this is how it will be. | 504
24/6/2022 09:06 | I predict that the H2 news window starts precisely next Friday. Buying in the 16's? So 25p officially on the trash pile of nonsense then. | dplewis1
24/6/2022 08:47 | I think that the news window opens next week really for H2. H2 should produce shipping of the first XGS-PON orders to China of the $3m contract. Sales of UEP2025. With the first Open Private network deployments in procurement we should get DU card sales. We should get shipping and sales into the $.9m UEP contract. Hopefully we'll get an update from India. Are the OEM contracted for mass production actually in mass production now consuming the initial orders. You would expect them to say if they were, if they are not why not as this is at least 12 months behind already. We should hear of new business. The company has been talking positively about new business. H1 was as expected a write off given that they were adapting for the contracts the year before. This is a process that won't happen in the future and sales will be from mass production capacity in plug and play format simply needing the client to select the code from the catalogue. I took a few at the start of the week and the small buy yesterday was mine. I will take more next week hopefully at 16.something. | 504
23/6/2022 18:32 | When you look at the picture of people leaving it's hard to imagine any are representatives of OEMs at work talking business. | 504
23/6/2022 15:00 | Just one lonely buy trade so far. The tide is truly out. | 504
23/6/2022 07:31 | Nathan Stooke of Wisper is being interviewed by Executive Chairman of Tarana this afternoon if you are interested. | purchaseatthetop
23/6/2022 07:24 | It's always interesting to reflect on the video presentations with Katie. In March Brian said he was optimistic about great news for shareholders in the coming months. I guess that we wait and see. He was off to follow up on all the great leads at MWC. I wonder what happens to that. I guess that it's an ongoing process that will at some stage reach committment. In North America for ISPs that point is really H2. Many have been in planning for a long time. However Brian says that the route to market is through OEMs and Integrators. We know that a few weeks later in the US 50% of the OEMs are either building a product with Ethernity or are signed up to. So meeting ISPs is really irrelevant as Ethernity don't supply solutions to end users. I have to assume then it's the OEMs and Integrators that they engage at these events. I also have to assume that those OEMs and Integrators are also exhibitors for their own services and solutions. I doubt that there are more than 10 wireless network vendors covering the North American market | 504
