14/6/2022 20:24 | Astral. The key questions is “why did ENET do the 5G deal?” It is critical. The timing, the amount, the previous variations on UEP delivery, the now delivery a few months later….all make it clear to me they were betting the ranch on UEP2025 as they could see it was exactly what the market would need. Just like everybody, they had got it wrong. ENET have poured at least $2.5m into the UEP2025 and they did not have the cash. So they got it. Well, it makes sense to me. But who knows? | purchaseatthetop
14/6/2022 20:09 | I love it when you talk dirty PaTT! | astralvision
14/6/2022 15:52 | PaTTIs a relevant question.Did you need $2m that badly that you were prepared to give away c 13% or more of the company for it.One would hope there's a good answer as it makes no sense to me. | astralvision
14/6/2022 15:37 | Bit of nibbling going on.Not too surprising. | astralvision
14/6/2022 15:10 | PaTTOne thing I will say about ENET is the directors don't milk it and the two founders have put in well over £450k in the last couple of years.Fair play to them. | astralvision
14/6/2022 14:40 | Great opportunity to top up at 5p | 1liam
14/6/2022 14:31 | Hi Russ. Sorry I could not speak yesterday. Will call tomorrow. If 1liam posted “good time to top up” here and now he might be right for once. | purchaseatthetop
14/6/2022 14:27 | The company model is not sustainable. Conviction sell by current financial stats. | 1liam
14/6/2022 13:09 | Be happy with that PaTT£2 do nicely then! | astralvision
14/6/2022 12:38 | Astral. Not so simple as just buying it out. Future value is in the team so just cashing in damages the future. Has to be an agreed and friendly deal and I am sure far higher than £1 will be needed. IMO. | purchaseatthetop
14/6/2022 11:00 | Interesting dpl, esp this bit ‘Malladi pointed to Qualcomm’s history of integrating small, Israeli-based companies, specifically mentioning its purchase of system-on-chip (SoC) provider DesignArt Networks in 2012.’ Ofcourse, both DL and MR insisted at the AGM that ENET won’t get sold on the cheap. In which case bring on the > £1 bid. To be fair ENET have probably spent at least £30m and xxxmillion man hours since listing on development, so anything under a quid could be a bargain from Qualcomm’s point of view. imo. | astralvision

14/6/2022 09:27 | It's a hilarious thought that they could give a blanket figure then not have to release contract news. Of course that's complete nonsense. It's important to understand that everything that happens now is merely preparatory to mass production. The company has obviously had some rigourous guidance from OEMs about product sales or they won't be heading into volume manufacturing. UEP and XGS-PON will be in production at the same time. What we see is based upon a handful of pioneering open deployments. The main event is down the road 18+ months. Until then it's small hence the 6+14 guidance. Once deployments on mass are triggered the available market will increase 50-100 times what we see this year as Europe, Asia and North America build out private networks. It's possible to build a network without Ethernity but it's very difficult to add sufficient performance and flexibility without Ethernity. | 504
14/6/2022 08:48 | New contracts will be announced as and when. This thing that they can't release significant contracts because of the $20m thing is 100% wrong, simple as that. Before anyone says, the $3m 'follow on order' was not an order, it was indicative and, as such, doesn't merit a RNS. Although, imo, they could have done a RNS Non or reach, but there we go. | astralvision

14/6/2022 04:52 | Following on from yesterday's news wouldn't it be nice to see an announcement that PDMRs have purchased shares.I mean the Company's cheap, right? Makes sense if they know everything is moving in the right direction.Living in hope anyway! | j arthur rank |
