12/11/2024 09:42 | Very Disappointed the note talks about the oPOORtunity ( yeah poor)Ahead being ASIC, not uep2025. | realdealy
12/11/2024 09:33 | Snooker. Not a chance of buying again. Sadly nothing DL writes is remotely believable. This research note is just paid for gumpf and they can mention Tarana because it comes as quasi-independent. This ASICs stuff has been go8mg on for ages with no conclusion. But I hope it is all true for holders. Good luck. | purchaseatthetop
12/11/2024 09:29 | Thank you PATT for posting the full Allenby Research note Interested in buying again now you see the name Tarana mentioned? You sold because Tarans was not a customer, in your opinion, but this Nov 12th 2024 research note says that they are !!! Food for thought I think | snooker40
12/11/2024 08:59 | Just seen on a post on LSE via a new Allenby Research note Notice Tarana is mentioned as a customer "Large ASIC opportunity ahead Ethernity Networks Ltd (ENET.L) provides technology solutions that increase network infrastructure capacity, offering customers a range of proprietary software, hardware and integrated network appliances. Ethernity's FPGA based solutions are economical and reduce time-to-market. Customers consists of networking OEMs (e.g. RAD, Calix and Tarana) and Aerospace and Defence solutions integrators (e.g. Raytheon and Honeywell). The company is currently engaged in discussions with two Tier-1 telecoms OEMs to develop an ASIC solution. Prospective ASIC customers would leverage Ethernity’s existing IP, integrated in its UEP2025 solution, benefitting from at least a 50% lower development cost and up to 24 months reduced time to market. Management plans to use the ASIC opportunity to drive growth and has an aspiration to reach annual revenues of $35m+ by the end of the decade. An ASIC contract win would be a key catalyst, unlocking a large untapped market. Ethernity shares trade at an undemanding 0.3x FY23 EV/Sales". | snooker40
09/11/2024 07:41 | “The big players seem to be trying to kill Tarana by increasing power limits on CBRS bands. Some big 5G companies like Verizon, EchoStar and Ericsson want to increase the power of their transmissions in the 3.5GHz CBRS spectrum band. They argue doing so will make the band more useful by extending the geographic range of CBRS signals. But higher power level limits could ruin the burgeoning cable and fixed wireless networks already operating in the band, according to a wide range of other companies.” Fixed wireless frustrations "Raising the maximum power level would substantially increase mutual interference," wrote WISPA, a trade association representing some of the nation's smaller fixed wireless Internet providers, in comments to the FCC. "Tarana is concerned that the contemplated proposals related to a significant increase in base station power levels would fundamentally alter the shared spectrum nature of the CBRS band," wrote Tarana Wireless, which has gained significant traction supplying hardware dedicated to fixed wireless networks across the globe. Interestingly, Tarana disclosed that US operators have deployed over 90,000 Tarana radios in the CBRS band, "a number that is growing at an exponential rate," according to the company. "Such [power level] changes, if adopted, would likely impact critical services currently deployed in the band and stunt the growth of many existing and planned CBRS deployments, undermining significant capital infrastructure investment to date," Tarana told the FCC. "More importantly, these changes would incentivize the deployment of lower capacity macrocellular network deployments, and smaller aggregate network investments by fewer participants." | purchaseatthetop

07/11/2024 13:07 | First five UK towers are active…up to you whether you think Ethernity still involved. If so then this is great. “Once online, the system will be able to offer ‘fibre-class speeds’ of up to 400Mbps at ranges of up to 7km. This makes it an ideal solution for bringing remote communities into the 21st Century in so far as connectivity goes. Meanwhile, it will also provide a coverage boost on top of existing kit. Trials of the network recently began, and five of Airband’s 450 mast sites have now gone live, with the sixth to come online next month. Most of these locations are still reliant on legacy technology, which will be replaced over the coming months and years. hashtag#Tenbury Wales is already active, with the service covering Penrhyn Bay, Barnstaple, Bovey Tracey & Newton Abbot and Llangollen. ‘With Tarana, we’re putting connectivity first. ngFWA has made it simpler for us to grow our network and connect more homes and business. We look forward to bringing high-speed service to more communities that are waiting for a better broadband option,’ said Kash Rahman, Managing Director at Airband.” | purchaseatthetop
