100% agree. Security clearance to have foreign IP in key defence systems. Takes a little time especially over holiday season.

OK. I'm busy at the moment but from what I've read so far about US Aviation and Aerospace contracts is that what ENET are calling government approval is in fact security clearance. This is what they have not yet received.

Pwhite. Things don’t always happen as planned especially over the summer holiday season. I will give them two weeks for the imminent bit! Oddly there is a major positive in that we know $400k cash on approval.

Yes disappointing but the contract is in place and training has been undertaken.

They issued the RNS probably because I emailed the NOMAD…

“Dear Mr Reeve,

Once again thanks for reacting to my previous issue regarding the structured deed conversion terms. It was appreciate.

On 28/6/24 ENET issued a contract win RNS that stated

"The implementation of the project and tight collaboration with the Customer for the development of their product, which is based on the ENET Data Flow Processor, is conditional on approval from the U.S. Government, as is customary for U.S. Aerospace projects. This approval is estimated to be granted no later than August 2024. An equivalent approval was previously granted to a different US Aerospace customer of Ethernity."

As we have reached September please would you ensure that an update RNS is issued immediately on Monday if this approval has not been granted as the June RNS would be out of date on very material matters.

Otherwise we can safely and reasonably assume that approval has been granted.

So its simply an administrative delay. If so why could the company not have said so, that would have calmed investor nerves. The term they used was 'unforeseen'. If you know the US shuts down in July what makes you think ENET were unaware.

But what is the 'unforeseen' delay?. Clearly something has happened that ENET were not expecting.

Is it simply an administrative backlog or something more serious like the US government will not authorise the embedding of Israeli software in its military aerospace whilst there is the potential for the US and Israeli governments to fall out over the war in Gaza. The more so as the Harris administration is more likely to be hostile to Israel.
