Fairly inspiring video from a month ago with our CEO, Carl Guardino, Nextlink, DigitalC. Quite a line up.

You can see they are laser focused on BEAD funding.

A year ago the Wabash Heartland Innovation Network elected to use Tarana for their quasi IoT laboratory

They had their plans…

Now their coverage is appearing

“You can quickly and easily see if your address has coverage capability by going to hxxps://lnkd.in/gf9BFMSU and inserting your address. If it looks like you are covered, go ahead and fill out an interest form and our internet service provider will be in touch quickly!

ICYMI: We are installing advanced wireless gear on towers throughout the region to support our region-wide broadband initiative. But what does that mean? It means that if you live in a rural part of our region and struggle to get reliable high speed internet… we may be able to help you. We currently have deployed state-of-the-art broadband solutions in 11 locations with 7 more planned for the remainder of 2024.

If you live in one of the following locations, check out our coverage map to see if you're covered:
Monon
Reynolds
Attica
Williamsport
Fowler
Earl Park
Ladoga
Frankfort
Lafayette
Veedersburg
Logansport”

All over the USA there are 2,500 WISPs. More and more and using Tarana because although the base units are over double the cost of the nearest competitor, the Cambium Epmp 4600, it takes above double the number of customers and actually works. Tarana can get 250 customers a base unit so if 200 are on the cost of connection is about $100 a customer. Not much if you get $60 a month revenue per customer.

6/4/21 RNS
“Tarana successfully completed field trials in 2020 and is now fulfilling orders from service providers for large-scale commercial deployments of G1, requiring supply of 5,000 units of Ethernity's ENET Flow Processor over the next 12 months. To that end, Ethernity has received initial orders for $400K to supply its FPGA SoCs, expected to be delivered by early Q3 2021,”

So $400k by early Q3 21.

27/5/21 RNS
Highlights

· A total of $2m in customer orders from Tarana Wireless to supply the Company's ENET FPGA SoC;

· The orders include $740k worth of orders for 2021, c. 50% over previous expectations;

· $1.26m in orders for 2022, which may increase further; and

· Despite the challenge of the worldwide component shortage, the Company has secured supplies of required components for the remainder of the year.

Ethernity CEO David Levi said: "We are delighted to see that the rate of deployment has exceeded original expectations as evidenced by the accelerated orders we have now received from Tarana for this year and next

So, Tarana speeded up their deployment and therefore most likely needed another delivery of $340k of chips late 2021. The $2m purchase order probably still relates to the need for 5,000 chips. The only thing that has changed is the phasing.

$2m for 5,000 chips is $400 a chip.

16/11/22 RNS
“Follow-on order after shipment by Ethernity of majority of the initial $2m of ENET FPGA SoC devices for the Customers' First-Generation FWA based station product “

Nearly 18 months later the May 21 $2m purchase order had not been completed. Components crisis had slowed rollout down.

Therefore each base unit could be worth $400 to us.
I have assumed $250 to be conservative.
At $250 a time just WAVonline sales in August are worth $40k to us. At $300 worth $52k. At $400 $65k. There is some upside on my assumptions

Thought Cambium was a real competitor for Tarana, they would have them believe.
A real rub in the nose for them.
Come on the Tarana (and ENET).

Very interesting that the major competition Cambium Epmp 4600L is failing. It is midway between Tarana (gold standard) and Ubiquiti (Lidl standard). But they have not got their product right and the WISPs are saying so…

reddit.com/r/wisp/comments/1f3h2ou/upgrade_from_ubiquiti_without_breaking_the_bank/

"I would highly suggest to stay away from cambium. They are lagging in the WISP field. Year plus of testing 6Ghz and only within the last month have we gotten decent firmware and any real great results. Techs hate them, managers hate them, billing and budget hates them. You want to invest in some real hardware to out perform all other wireless? Look at Tarana."

"Like it or not, sounds like you're best bet is still Uniquiti."

"Cambium 450m 3ghz is $8,500 bucks just to get the access point, a $550 certificate to be able to install it and maintain your network, one to three dollars per month per customer paid to your spectrum controller, and about $500 per CPE to install."

"Cambium is worse, we're moving away from them. Try to upgrade your backhaul links to something like Siklu and use the best of ubiquiti for APs. or us it is the throughput. On the same conditions we can get double the throughput with the ubiquiti equivalent. Also latency is worse."

“ Tarana gets like buy a new car expensive, but has unbelievable results.”

"Ubiquiti is likely your best bet. We have a mix of other radios, and some of the others are useful in certain situations ( cbrs bring the big one (3.5-3.7 here US side). Overall we prefer the ubiquiti gear because it's hard to build a business with other manufacturers' price points."

“We started deploying Tarana in our higher density environments, and besides the price, I couldn't be happier. Is a longer initial ROI, but also a happier customer that is going to stick around longer because we can offer 500Mb plans easily.”

"I'm a network engineer at a WISP. MikroTIk Routing and Switching, and Ubiquiti for the AP's is a killer combination. Do it right, and you can't go wrong. Currently running a bit over 500 5AC Rocket Prisms, and 193 LTU Rockets."

Cambium was always a mid point threat but it seems to be failing.

Update on Tarana sales
WAVonline

6Ghz base units in stock
30/7 129
8/8. 106
13/8. 98
17/8. 94
21/8. 74
22/8. 72
23/8. 82 delivery of 10 or more
26/8 59
27/8 55
28/8 59 delivery of 5 or more
29/8 69 delivery of 10 of more
30/8 65
Now 85 delivery of 20 more

So despite delivery of at least 45 units the stock has dropped by 44 so far this month. So minimum 89 units sold this month so far.

3Ghz
30/7 23
8/8. 17
13/8. 3
14/8. 0 out of stock
20/8 20 delivery of 20
21/8 12
22/8 25 delivery of 13 minimum
22/8 73 delivery of 48 minimum
25/8 70
28/8 66
30/8 47

So 81 delivered and stock rose 24 so 57 sold.

Another 25 odd 5Ghz units have sold in August.

171 base units I total so far in August. At $250 a pop that is over $40k revenue to us. One seller of eight in one of 23 countries. Just imagine what the total is in August.
