Further delay then. Engineering mods and more testing needed before customer trials. Next update April.

We need confidence they have a real commercial outcome from these delays. Passing test isn't enough. Knowing they have demand that is real is needed. No such proof and no surprise if this sells off after tests passed and RNS'ed.

The results will be market sensitive, but I'm not sure the promised "behind the scenes" posts are, unless they point either to the results or to a material delay.

Should be RNS with news of early customer too.
Fact it passes test isn't enough.

They won't put out anything regarding the test. The test is a material event and they will put it out as an RNS.

Enteq has now put its own comment on the Offshore Achievement Award post.

I find it bizarre that Enteq continues to put out the odd post on SABER without any commentary on what is happening with the Norwegian test. We are so far beyond "weeks not months" and now almost 3 weeks even from their post promising "behind the scenes" updates.

It's all BS until they get some worthwhile revenue off SABER.
Fluff and faffle.

Another post on Enteq's shortlisting for the Offshore Achievement Awards in the Emerging Technology category.

A drill run can take a while. It depends on the distance. We are drilling hundreds of meters through hard rock. Few days to a couple of weeks. But we don't know the specifics. Anyhow we are likely to hear something relatively soon. Wait will be over. Then will come either the start of commercialisation or some re-engineering.

"The team has carried out final testing on the tool ahead of our scheduled field trials in Norway. Make sure to keep an eye on our LinkedIn account for more behind the scenes!"

2 weeks since that post. Is the continued silence starting to feel ominous?

Here's hoping for good news next week.

You don't want to take any unnecessary risks in Norwegian waters.

Absolutely nothing to do with our little heart breaker here but interesting read.

Are they rowing across to Norway with the kit?

Another post, so still alive. And if by now they had had a terminally negative surprise from the test I guess they would have difficulty maintaining the "proven technology" claim...

or next depending on how fast they pull a finger out.

Well we'll get a present... the question is whether you have been good this year or not...

Indeed. A lot more stressful these days than when it had a small MWD business and a big pile of cash.

I noticed they had apparently taken down the linkedin post of the team before it set off for Norway. Couldn't work out if that was encouraging, depressing or just irrelevant though.

Difference is you know you'll get a present at Christmas. Here we're not so sure.

This post suggests they're not yet in Norway though.

I listened back to the IMC presentation. As I understand the responses given in the Q&A section, they expect to be in Norway for almost 2 weeks. They plan to issue an initial RNS when they have confirmation that the system is working and they would then follow that up, probably 2-3 weeks later, with the full test results.

Good spot. Drilling through Solid granite, quite something.

Xrig posted (3 days ago) that they are now drilling. Could NTQ be the client, or one of the clients, for this well? If not, will NTQ have to wait for this test to finish before the SABER test can begin? (All assuming that they are using Xrig.)

"We are extending one of our wells from 466 meters to almost 1000 meters. This is performed testing new directional drilling equipment for our valued clients."

And I suppose you could read something in to the like from a Deloitte M&A manager on that post, if you were so inclined.

Thanks mr doughnut. Good to see the update even if clearly we're now in "months not weeks" territory. But so long as they're sounding confident and the lights are still on...
