Good spot! That's pretty encouraging:

"SABER is a finalist for The Offshore Achievement Awards Emerging Technology category!

We are delighted that SABER is going to be recognised at these esteemed awards, alongside other leading innovations and companies working across not only oil and gas, but also renewables and other offshore industries. Congratulations to the other finalists and we can’t wait for the results on the night!

Quick comment to a post from last month. The Bernoulli principle is most definitely real. Air flight depends on it. :)

The opportunity costs here has been massive. Once it moves convincingly through key levels that should change and new "cleverer" money arrive.

I don't think they will give up at all. The key here is if we get diluted at a bad price or if they give up with a public listing and take the business private on the cheap. These possibilities are more likely if the tests have issues.

Looks like they haven't given up yet. A couple of linkedin posts recently, including one from 2 days ago flagging an article in Geodrilling International. Presumably similar in content to the blog piece from November, but suggests they still think it's worth pushing forward with the marketing.

As long as they don't come out and say that the drill needs more work. Better to just fix it and get it working. I dont fancy the share price going down 50 60 percent again unless v necessary.

Looks to me like the listing has been changed again, to remove the price / link to the updated marketing memorandum. There is currently a cached version of the page (from early this morning) with the marketing flyer link, but it is not on the current version afaics.

Too much to hope that they've managed to close a sale to someone?

Also we're now in week 8 following the IMC presentation at which the "weeks not months" comment was made.

Must be a reasonable chance of an update on one or both of these things soon.

Let it be. Showtime soon, finally.
Management have a lot to lose if they screw up.
Not least personal reputation going forward.

Is it going to be a few days between starting the test and publishing the results? I have no idea. Is it an independently run test with independently published results or is it their own managed test at an independent facility? If it is their own managed test then is there anything akin to the "peer review" process they would want to go through (or need to go through for external credibility) before publishing?

I would like to hear when they start the Norway test as I think this is an important milestone, especially given the apparent delays to this point.

How they then communicate results is a separate decision.

You listening Andrew and David. If there is an issue sort it out in the workshop and get it running before doing an RNS... We only want to know of any failures if the Bennelli principle is as elusive in the real world as Pixie dust or the Loch Ness monster...

I would rather they get it sorted sort out any issues and give us a great result than rush out any negative news. Our future wealth depends on this.

7 week 4 days is less than months. Probably take it to the wire.

Impossible to tell 1gw. But I did like the emphasis on the Norway test being only "weeks" away as distinct from months.

Nice rise again today. Almost back to pre trading statement levels now :o))

A bit difficult from that to work out when it was actually recorded. The slides seem to be from the interims, with a "November 2022" date on the disclaimer, but it's being badged as a "2023 presentation". Has it just been recorded (and so the test is still "weeks away" from now) or was it recorded soon after the interims?

Here's a new presentation by the CEO.

The Norway testing of SABER remains "weeks away" and is scheduled in. Worth emphasising that the principle behind SABER has already been proven by Shell, and so just has to be verified in the field:
