No, I want to see management perform. It's what they are paid to do via dilution of our holdings. It's obvious they are now backs against the wall and have to fight to survive.

Only revenue for Saber will save this company and they don't have a lot of time. We are in the kill zone. Not a lot of fat on the bone.

What is the real downside in a worst situation? Either dilution from a capital raise which I think at this price the market is pricing in or a sale. I could see a sale taking place at a good price as the big guys wouldn't want the technology falling into one another's hands or they would buy so they could bury the product. No debt so we can't go bankrupt. This is worst case.

Sales of assets in US currently very likely to be seen as sign of distress and treated as such by buyers.

SABER better get traction soon else all the shares management have received in lieu of salary are going up in smoke with their jobs.

Backs against the wall. Time to deliver.

Thanks for the insight. I've seen the property pinched at around 4m usd on other sites but on the books it's is recorded as 2m usd. We will have to see....

It was quite exciting at the end, as they kept adding 3 minutes on to allow further bids (which came), and it made it over $2m (as I understood the screens) which didn't look very likely just before the 8pm supposed deadline.

But it still seemed to be showing "Reserve not met" as the clock finally ran out.

So we'll have to wait for news from the company. Were they really so confident of $2m+ that they set the reserve above $2m? Or by the time of the auction were they feeling more confident about other sources of cash and moved the reserve up so that it would only sell if they got a really good price? If they did think the final bid was good enough, were they able to close a sale even though the site was showing "reserve not met"? Or was that not what it meant?

Not exciting being the seller, possibly being left with this on the books but needing more cash for SABER roll-out.

Yes, nearly 45 hours in and just 6 bids so far, I think. And as they haven't yet reached the reserve price it could even be 1 bidder making all the bids, raising the bid to see if they can hit the reserve. But hopefully at least 2 bidders involved. Fingers crossed that we can get to the reserve and then have a bit more action as we approach the deadline.

Interims are scheduled for November (Wednesday 16th), not October, p1nkfish.

Not a great start to the auction, with what looks like only 1 bid at the auction start price received so far and still short of the reserve price. But perhaps it's like ebay, with a rush of bids possible in the last few seconds of the auction...

Fact testing in Norway is interesting given importance post Nordstream debacle.

I know that management are taking shares instead of cash and that respected people have joined the business because of the prospects. If the product wasn't protected by patents the competition would already be developing the technology. We are at the beginning of an energy CAPEX cycle and a rising tide floats all boats.

Risk reward of the shares at this price are crazy. Now we also have a bit more clarity on commercialisation of SABER. Taking advantage of declines like this in illiquid stocks are how individual investors can make big money. I topped up and will keep adding divi income. Downside is protected I believe through sale of the company. Management are heavily incentivised not to dilute. Waiting to see if we get more insider buys.

How big is the R&D budget?
How big is the R&D budget of competitors?

Competitors seem to be winning in the MWD space?
Why on earth believe that this minnow will win with SABRE (if they ever get it working)?

Risk/reward moving strongly in the wrong direction IMO.

Clearly, there´s a bull case, but I wonder if any of the ever optimistic posters here are in any way qualified to analyse the probability of success.
