02/8/2022 07:56 | nametrade Shock horror Topaz is a duster!!! This is O&E and the odds are on a duster. Dividend from an O&E explorer...unusual to say the least. TK may decide he's had enough if Topaz bums out and does sell up the assets and divy as he has 88m resons why his divy would be BIG! | buzzzzzzzz
02/8/2022 07:23 | It is possible that Conrad gives EME shares in Conrad IPO. This way, EME can sit on the shares till 2024. These shares can also be used as collateral to partly finance Topaz in a farm in deal. | sue999
01/8/2022 21:14 | Trouble with that Laz is that 1) How much of a divi will you get with what's left?...not a fat lot between 788.5M. 2) Assuming Topaz fails what do they do then?....Don't think selling California will get them the airfare to sign the contract....so they are then knackered.. | nametrade
01/8/2022 19:22 | $20m $40m $60m+ for Duyung? @$1.23:£1 that would be 2x 4x or 6x current share price Then what's Tom going to do with all that cash? Topaz would be funded easily so a nice big fat dividend would allow him and us to take some cash off the table and without having to sell stock and be shafted by the MMs! Be careful you don't miss out on the potential here. | lazarus2010
01/8/2022 18:44 | The face value of the note stays at £3,300,000. It only reverts to £2,700,000 if the Lender choses to redeem the Convertible Note. If the Lender was to do so it is most likely to be done sooner rather than later with the £330,000 monthly interest accruing in December. It was 10 May 2022 when the company informed shareholders of the amendments to the terms of the Convertible Note after "the Company and the Lender proactively entered discussions". 14 days after the duster. The company needed to raise cash in early May: "to complete further post well analysis of the Jade well, satisfy any further costs associated with the Jade drill, conduct a comprehensive oil migration study in conjunction with CNOOC for potential oil charge to the Topaz prospect, and for the Company's general working capital requirements" It has to raise cash for Topaz if it wants to drill next year. The arrival of the GSA, as always, is crucial. If the Lender calls in the loan immediately there might be trouble. Await further news. Be careful. | helpfull
01/8/2022 17:06 | Well Doomsday seems to have been and gone without the foretold disaster of an instant cash crunch and panic cash raise. I've said before, the passing of the 31 July deadline only gave the CLN holder the OPTION of asking for their money back IF they choose to do so. They had the same option in the result of a Jade duster and decided to stick around and refinance. There was no need for TK to put out an RNS today. In fact as of today the face value of the CLN has dropped by about £600k so we'e in the money. Whooppee! FWIW I reckon we'll see a GSA announcement in September, based on nothing at all. The question will be whether Duyung can still be monetised in time to finance Topaz in the first half on next year. | georgesorrow
01/8/2022 16:34 | BB He might well be trying to look after us BUT there needs to be communication re Duyung and CLN holders. | buzzzzzzzz
01/8/2022 16:29 | I have had no one ring me back from Cenkos! | buzzzzzzzz
01/8/2022 16:25 | Why has TK gone missing? Surely the least he can do is put out update RNS given the 31st July deadline. Bloody horrendous communication and only time he improved was when Toon held his feet to the fire over Sugarloaf payout. FFS earning your salary Tom and look after your shareholders for once. | blueblood
01/8/2022 15:00 | Not mine Judijudi, but seems that no good news is good news for you, always has to be some negative angle eh? Spot on space_dust | simonsmithiv
01/8/2022 14:38 | It looks to me that the market makers have no idea how to price EME given the current situation, what I do know is the stock is down 85% from the 12 month high and is very illiquid. One hopes for a positive outcome from near term proceedings, if so expect a significant move, historically EME has been a leaky ship so look for increasing volumes. I tend to agree that the negativity is coming from holders who have bought higher up, whilst understandable this negativity has possibly driven the share price lower than could have been expected (the last placing was at 1.5p) one would have thought the takers of that stock (in May) would have been given some assurances. The CEO has 88m shares out of 788m, worth bearing in mind. | space_dust

01/8/2022 14:06 | Better get back in quick Judijudi. Nothing worse than giving up and selling for a huge loss and then deramping to get back in cheaper but instead it takes off.... Always expect the unexpected. | simonsmithiv
01/8/2022 14:03 | You must all be very disappointed at the moment? It's blue. | simonsmithiv
