"secure a suitable drilling rig and order long lead items and for the Company's general working capital requirements"

Drilling Topaz next year might require Eme to keep to the same timetable. But there is no chance of that. Shareholders need to hope the rumour is true. What rumour? The share price has risen to the last placing price. It shows how starved of any news shareholders are when such a rise might mean a leak of good news. As Eric Cantona would say you only need to rattle the chains to get the dogs to bark.

A welcome rise today but a long way to blue for me. I hope this is a sign of a recovery but I am not getting too excited without any hard news as with the share having dropped so much any increase at these levels produces a relatively deceptively high percentage gain.

If good news is soon announced then this company is uninvestable. With certainty there was a massive leak last time, with the stock crashing the day BEFORE bad news. It it jumps this time before good news announced then you just can't invest in this company because you will always be at a disadvantage to the insiders.
