I think its a bit like phoning your solicitor a month after leaving your house sale in their hands to find nothing has been done. Here we have the added bonus of a rapidly looming deadline which at the current rate of action will be on us.
That's why people are moaning..

But as they say...what can we do about....nothing....so why worry.

I have worked for a few companies who have paid invoices into incorrect accounts, we are informed how it happened and what to guard against.

In these cases emails were sent to the Accounts department with the details of the account name and number, amount etc. Correspondence then occurs between these emails, with the payee not being aware that he is emailing with the scammer.

I have no idea if this was the modus operandi of this particular scammer, but I suspect it was something along those lines.

Also referring to Toon and his above post, he clearly does have the knowledge and experience of cyber crime, however you just keep on with your uneducated guesswork and making false claims that you are unable to substantiate and it will all come out in the wash.

I would also suggest that as TK has made a statement, copied and pasted earlier, that COSL continue with the work, and has NOT stated that COSL are demanding this payment beforehand, it sort of pulls the rug from under your posts for the past few weeks, however you're so fekin arrogant that you're right that you continue to push this issue on the BB and try to make an issue of it.

For what it's worth, I personally think Tom was at fault, because there was a simple measure to guard against such fraud, it's called a telephone, and all he had to do was pick it up, speak with his contact direct and read the account name and number out to him or her to do a final check. He certainly should have been advised by his bank to take such measures before pressing send!

Toon, I thought you said the fraud manifested COSL end and therefore not EMEs problem, why are you now referring to EME getting money back?

Oh by the way I am the appointed money laundering officer within my companies and I also believe that EME will get the money back I know what happened and have checked it out with a couple of top end bank fraud officers they say the same they believe we will get money refunded, as they say though till the money is in the bank nowts guaranteed. :)

Btw'What I know' about the situation is extremely limited and based upon a few vague lines as a tag on in a RNS about a missing 2 million dollars.You may know more, or should I say have been told more, as a significant shareholder, in a not dissimilar way to how toon seemed to have a more informed position than that provided in the RNS.

Laz,I'm not buying this faux naivete of yours. I get that you are clutching at ever thinner straws in your desire to believe everything is just fine & dandy regardless of all the pointers to the contrary & the shocking bad luck TK seems to suffer.I however, take a more pragmatic view on all the coincidences that seem to delay this.
