A drop in price can be healthy and clear out all the weak holders.

See that travel from UK to Morocco and back is permitted now. Have to assume Graham is there at last, shame he doesn’t seem to have a Twitter account to send a rallying message!

Think way too much has been read into yesterday’s RNS. If you look at the composition of the board, it is hardly the picture of diversity so some new faces is good IMO. Even if there is some cause for delay on the environmental permit we don’t know about, it’s far more likely that a change in NED was planned when the new chairman came in (some months ago). I just don’t think recruitment happens that quick when we’ve only so recently been told the permit was close.

So someone's bought heavily, only registered recently on the boards, and only started posting when the share price started dropping. Hmmmmmmm... Another one for the filter methinks.

Well let's hope it is westie50! Because the price did not seem to move well yesterday after the announcement!

I'm not sure if the previous post about newcomers is referring to me or not but I'm 20% of my portfolio in Emmerson and DEFINTELY not a newcomer to it... so tone down the paranoia on this thread. We're all entitled to an opinion and as long as it's educated (rather than a qsmelly emoji post) we should be respected.

Honeybee, I feel your pain and sick of this taking so long too. It's clear there wasn't a positive reaction to a politician being hired yesterday so I'd say mine, and your comments should be respected. It doesn't mean I'm going to dump my shares, it means I'm getting tired of waiting for something that was originally a Q1 delivery.

Bit of bargain-hunter buying coming in now... Touch wood we will bounce back towards 5.5p again soon, or at least find support above 5p. GLA

I think Graham was his own worst enemy. Instead of guessing at end of June, beginning of July, he should of just said, ‘we have addressed any concerns, regarding the ESIA, that have been asked of us, and are extremely hopeful that we should get the permit in the first half of the year. Due to restrictions, on meetings in Morocco, this could overrun into the early second half of the year. We are extremely confident of obtaining the permit’.

APF, I'm saying too...

I think Graham did state that the ESIA was due in "H1" just a few weeks ago, so it is slightly delayed. But government bureaucracy in developing countries is always slow and unpredictable - it's bad enough in Europe! Covid has played a role too, they said. A couple of weeks here and there should not worry LTHs.

Are there any more of those 3p warrants in issue? If more are being exercised and sold as they have been from time to time, then that could explain the weakness.

I find it odd that 2 fresh accounts appear here today. With no history of being a part of this journey. One just a month ago (with 3 posts) and one from just over a year (with 9 posts).Just saying

Why are people saying the esia is delayed? We were never given an exact date for it.Looks like shorter scaremongering. Those believing this fresh delay rumour will likely regret listening to derampers if the approval comes in the next week or 2.Oh well.

A $50M market cap for what we have is ridiculous. I can only assume this drop is a mixture of standard summer doldrums, a bit of nervousness over a slight delay in the ESIA, and perhaps some opportunistic small-scale shorting, or MMs fishing for stops. Worst case scenario there is a need for some revisions to the ESIA and it's delayed by a couple of months, which is not existential. But I understood from a recent presentation that the ESIA has already been revised over the months in consultation with the Govt, hence why EML are expecting it to be awarded imminently.
