08/6/2021 11:49 | The printed trades look encouraging. The published bid price (5.50p) is a MM trick, it's actually 5.75p and I can sell large amounts at that price at the moment. Unless a massive sell comes in, we should go blue soon IMHO. | cyberbub

08/6/2021 09:11 | Apf that's why SXX decided to build a horizontal tunnel to get their mined material to port... But a 30km tunnel is very very ambitious technically and financially - as they found out the hard way! | cyberbub
07/6/2021 20:46 | We are using declines, which are much easier to drill and extract material than using shafts. The added benefits being much easier access to the resource, and much better from a safety perspective too, for personnel, services, etc. Also declines allow access by vehicles and tracked or pulleyed carts. Whereas shafts are limited to vertical extraction, and are much harder to access, meaning personnel have to use a lift, which itself can be dangerous, and hinders recovery in the event of accidents. | apfindley
07/6/2021 18:13 | Plus Airbag $1bn+ compared to $35m for the respective builds was one of the facts that made it a no brainer for me to invest in EML. | westie50
07/6/2021 14:57 | Of course KHEM and SXX are miles apart (literally and geotechnically). You try digging and excavating shafts and tunnels in water bearing soils. Its bloody hard and the risks of such works become very high. | 1airbag
04/6/2021 18:58 | Good post APF. I find myself agreeing with you again. Why on earth people keep harping back to SXX is beyond me. There really is no comparison between the two | westie50
04/6/2021 18:50 | Stop continually taking the conversation back to sxx.You cannot compare the 2 projects. They needed billions in capital and actually raised several hundred million at a premium.Parts of the project were built....but as usual in the UK, the hurdles were numerous, including environmental activists, the project had uverruns, and it was so big it would've meant ripping up parts of national parks. The aquifers were a huge huge problem too.In the end, despite already raising large chunks of cash, the next stage of raising fell through for sxx.And that which failed was for 5x emmersons total projected capex. What you're seeing here is cat and mouse negotiations....but for the small capex funding we require, no ammount of pride from negotiators will prevent a deal being struck. | apfindley

04/6/2021 15:58 | Short straw?I'd like to think that buying at 5.12p he will be into a winner! | gateside
04/6/2021 15:45 | You asked for "skin in the game" now you've got it, 750k shares from poor old Ed, he drew the short straw! I'm sure they read these forums and decided to appease the masses! | bazildonbond
04/6/2021 12:51 | Part of the SXX issue was that its would-be brokers (hoping to get the fund raise mandate) pushed the illogical NPV argument/share price in hope the insti's would swallow it for the funding. They didn't ! And those who had, pushing the shares up near to it, lost their shirts. Those same brokers (Shore) are still pushing the NPV argument for EML (25 Sept '20) although have learned by 'risk-adjusting' it and predicting a funding package. That goes only part way to predict a share price. However Shore gives useful background and market info. But its always the 'target' share price wheeze that misleads, if only because it exaggerates what a realistic price would be - so is a good tool for the broker to puff the shares. | lurker5
04/6/2021 12:49 | Westie your post 5348 is correct I think. They've publicly stated that the EIA is due in H1 so that's known to the market and doesn't create a closed period. They've kept their cards close to their chest on funding, and so if someone has bought then it means that it's unlikely that funding news is imminent.IMO it will take at least a couple of months after the final paperwork (=EIA) is approved, to announce a funding deal. Corporate processes, due diligence etc etc. Given the holiday season, I've said I'm not expecting any announcement until September although it could be earlier. In any case it seems that the directors have a short window where their NOMAD has said they can buy, so one has done so (and a decent albeit not enormous amount). Perhaps we might get a couple more shortly?GLA NAI | cyberbub
04/6/2021 12:25 | I'll answer my own earlier question in that "all employees" are subject to closed period regulations! I'll shut up now! | westie50
04/6/2021 12:18 | Cyberbub made the shares go up more when he/she bought in....! | 1airbag
04/6/2021 12:17 | It seems to be setting up nicely for a move. A director paying £40k for some shares and EIA imminent. | 1airbag
04/6/2021 12:15 | EML have said for some time that funding news would be in Q3. | cottoner
04/6/2021 12:05 | Adding to my previous post - I assume as the BODs don't know when the EIA will turn up, this doesn't in itself put them in a closed period. But by the Director buy RNS, I guess it makes funding news at least a month away? Am I right? Thoughts welcome. | westie50
04/6/2021 12:03 | Now I’m confused. Same rules for execs and non execs as far as I understand. | mesb48
04/6/2021 11:47 | Approximately £40000 director buy.I assume that partly explains yesterday's rise. | gateside
04/6/2021 11:43 | I was under the impression the BOD were in a closed period. With the RNS today that suggests different. Unless a Non-Exec is subject to different dealing rules as Exec Directors? | westie50
04/6/2021 09:34 | Possibly just a reaction to being at a ridiculous level of 5p, people had set limit buys and triggered a technical buying spree by the algos etc.Anyway the EIA should be issued imminently, GC confirmed last week it would be in H1 and there are only 4 weeks left of H1... | cyberbub

04/6/2021 09:05 | Bizarre really. Someone thought they got wind of something yesterday and there was a lot of buying for a short period then nothing. Very odd News is what's needed obvs | donald pond |
