It's interesting that recently I have been seeing adverts for Emmerson online and in social media feeds. So they are clearly running a targeted marketing campaign at potential (or in my case actual) investors. Encouraging.

Agree cyberbub - added a few into my daughter's Junior ISA today

I was telling her about Emmerson - she said, "what a great company as that will mean more of the world will be able to be fed and the world's population is growing" - Smart lass!

Still some dregs of the placing being washed through IMO.The environmental permit must be due soon. Then news of the funding, or heads of terms at least. Then light the blue touch paper IMO...

Emerson PLC: potash vital in feeding the world’s growing population
23/4/2021

Emerson PLC’s (LON:EML) primary focus is on developing the Khemisset Potash Project located in Northern Morocco. Potash is a fertiliser used to increase crop yields and improve the quality of plants – it plays a central role in helping feed the world’s growing population. The importance of potash as a commodity within the world economy is set to increase further, representing an opportunity for investors, as outlined by Emerson PLC.

Demand for Potash is Growing
The world’s population is growing at a rapid rate which will significantly increase the demand for potash. In addition, the amount of available farmland to grow food is reducing. “By 2050, we have to produce 60% more food than today,” said Graham Clarke, CEO of Emmerson, who presented at April’s UK Investor Magazine conference. Therefore agricultural productivity per acre must keep improving in order to ensure sustainable food security. This requires the right use of fertilizers, using potash, in order to maximise crop production, Clarke argues. In addition, Emerson’s project is in Africa, which is where most of the world’s future arable land exists.

Hi Tom .
This share has been quite barren in terms of rises in the last year .and has had periods of not much happening.... having said that there had been enough happening in terms of directors coming on board, feasibility studies and company forecasts of the business model to suggest it could be a lot more to gain going forwards .
In my opinion I believe the swap over to AIm is part of the strategy and more news could be about to follow once that has happened .I’m hoping when it moves over it doesn’t drop off a cliff . It’s had very little support on the main market .
The directors holding show they have a true interest in making this work . Unless it becomes an AIM nose bag for them and sits in the doldrums for eternity .I’ve always liked Hayden on interviews and the same with Graham Clarke . If Eml are concentrating on getting the business model into a working situation... maybe there will less regulation for them to deal with by being on AIM .
(All IMO .. and I’m a novice who is optimistic.)
Let’s go 7.5 p by mid May

What are the predictions for the share price once the transfer to AIM happens?

Morning all, was correct thread, Graham Clarke presented at UK Investor Magazine Virtual Conference yesterday. Slides are now available on EML Twitter page.

Appreciate the nod QsmeIly456. I’m here to take on board thoughts and opinions of all. I have my own but additional discussions are always welcome. Enjoy the content from all on here regardless of whether their belief is that EML is going up or down. For me, I hope it flies!

Cheers all,

Tom.
