Can we all please ignore/filter the trolls please? It's not difficult. Gets a bit boring reading all these responses to stupid posts I can't see. Plus hides the actual important posts.

Omg what are you spouting. This is one of most concrete projects around with a great BOD. Tbh they are delivering best value to SHs

Keep talking it up 👧🤼‍♀️

Reality is I flagged the funding was going to be unlikely and that they were dreamers.

BOD have shown a level of nativity and inexperience.

Now at least they might get this going on a pilot scale.

Sell on news is sensible before dilution

Very pleased to see that potential change in approach this morning.

To some extent their hands will be tied as they will have been caught out by how low the MC still is at this juncture hence weakening their position in ongoing financing negotiations.

Change in approach however should ultimately increase shareholder returns and shows that the interests of management are clearly aligned with shareholders.

Additionally the salt has the potential to match the annual EBITDA on the MOP (at current market prices) so the diversification is most welcome.

As always the parasite funders want to be on the inside and enjoy the lions share....but eml remains strong and honest to resist those scum who want to control the price for a cheap entry. This isn't going to succumb like lesser companies have.

So you agree.

Let's see if they get an effective pilot plant away.....thats a sensible strategy so long as its future proofed as far as it can be for expansion.

Qsmelly,

They maybe a bit of funding which was tricky to get in full at current prices? Or maybe the BoD weren't happy with the price funders wanted at the equity level?

Either way...we now get less dilution as initial funding will be smaller...they get the plant up and running and then expand gradually as the cash comes in too....resulting share price is higher, can potentially look to sefl-fund more from operations and at a higher share price

Win-win - as seen by the market reaction so far today.

Unlike most of the rampers on this thread who are clearly connected related parties. Which as we know is illegal for a lse company..🤣💦

This is the really important piece

aimed at reducing upfront capital costs

It screams oh 💩 we cannot raise the cash we need so pair this back to something we can maybe fund via dilution, prove the concept then expand.

Basically that's the way the market reads this too.

Sell on news especially when it's as bad as this

Graham Clarke, Emmerson's CEO, commented:

"Khemisset is a project of enormous potential and we see several opportunities to improve upon the mine plan presented in the 2020 Feasibility Study. The most obvious is the potential to expand the Project, given it is currently based on less than 50% of our total Mineral Resource Estimate.

"We have also previously discussed the potential to increase our salt sales and our ongoing investigations into the global de-icing salt market and, in particular, the US market gives us a high level of confidence in our ability to upscale our salt production significantly.

"We have previously presented a Scoping Study for an SOP project which indicated a project that could deliver an additional US$70m of EBITDA for the Company for minimal capital expenditure. The SOP market, especially our target US sales market, continues to show strength in pricing, which drives a strategy to accelerate the development of that project, which provides increased cashflow generation, but also diversity of end-product.

"Finally, the capital cost benefits of our project mean that we believe we can develop our project using a staged approach, which reduces upfront capital costs and equity requirements from the market and, therefore, dilution to our existing shareholders as we grow to our full potential.

"With our mining licence in hand, we see 2021 as a pivotal year for our development as we aim to become the only potash producer in Africa and the only independent potash producer globally."

Great rns. Makes logical and financial sense and should massively reduce dilution to existing shareholders Time to add a few more I think

Agreed Donald which is why it's good news (and perhaps no coincidence..) that they've got the licence earlier than expected... I'd be pleased if they accelerated the start on site to Q3 rather than Q4.The chart looks like it might be forming a sort of pennant?

Fact is its down and been falling.

I note you ramped it prior to the presentation pump dump.

Massive cash raise required and they've talked a good talk but delivered sweat fa on the financial front. There's not even a robust deliverable plan. Plenty of ideas discussions meetings but no draft terms, offers etc.

Oh and any MOU's are just pumps 🤣💦

Smelly.
💩load of yawning at your ridiculous posts.
Just as ag commodities are gapping higher, inputs follow. Fact.
As inputs like potash go higher, so does the availability of capital to fund additional production. Now you may dispute this assertion but I'd rather back the track record of the likes of Locke and Connelly.

Re cottoner that gives a price of $360 per ton which is bang on the consensus case in the presentation.
My worry was the low 2020 potash price. I was hoping for a top up around 6.8 but whats .5p when earnings should be $244m pa.

Hayden tweet just now#Potash prices continue to rally. Sales prices reported to be gapping higher amid "tight supply". It's a very interesting dynamic with continued strength in cash crops, which are the biggest consumers of potash. All looking very good for 2021 and beyond. Perfect time for #EML

Thanks for your excellent post Cottoner. Interesting the IPI price has increased 4 fold in the last 10 months. Possibly as we're not a producer yet, the Potash price won't have such an extreme effect on our share price in the short term. However as we get to construction and beyond, I'm sure it'll become that much more relevant
