Only that if you look at the last yrs chart , each of the sharp rises has been followed by a significant drop , and though I have long term faith here and still hold quite a lot , I am gambling that I will be able to buy back for a quick 5-10%.

Decided to trade some out at 1407. Surely this rise won't sustain for long?

I also like the way the share price is heading today. A challenge to the ATH looks a possibility

Great trading update, slightly above and 48million cash in the bank. Happy to continue to hold.

In the Midlands and Lancs , Emis 98% System One 2%. That is the figure in the Performance Audit that we have just been part of , trying to look at recent problems.

TPP is also called SystemOne (the product) and its a privately owned holding company I believe.

The other main competetors, Microtest and INPS (Vision) are falling by the wayside.

May I please ask which supplier is TPP? Thanks

Agree ; we want fast performance not lots of options. Hard to be sure what is slowing our system down , part of our problem is the number of simultaneous demands on our unimpressive PCs. The latest "improvements" have certainly slowed us down , though quite how much security is improved is hard to know.

In summary, we suspect that the root of the problem is the integration of 3rd party apps and functionality into the system. However, there's no point in putting the whistles and bells on something is the core functionality is degraded.

We're having a local/regional issue with EMIS today I understand - this comes on the back of weeks of exceptionally slow performance for EMIS at a time of unprecedented demand for us in GP.

It really is starting to hammer our productivity at the worst possible time. The main competitor TPP is more prevalent in our county and isn't causing the same issues I understand.

There have been phases when EMIS slows down and clearly a 10 second delay is unacceptable , but I am not sure that the average speed is any slower in the last few months than a year ago . The integration of Docman software is certainly more problematic for us than ever before , not sure how widespread its useage is .
Either way there is a high bar to moving out of EMIS; the upheaval would be significant .

Think you need to read the RNS more carefully.

Southby acquired 3 year options (at nil cost) which is more than double the amount he sold IN ORDER TO MEET HIS TAX OBLIGATIONS ON ALL THOSE OPTIONS.

In short, if he had kept the whole entitlement, he would have had to pay out a similar figure to the proceeds over to the HMRC out of his own pocket.

Probably very sensible!

Would you have that amount of money sitting around in your bank?

So no reflection on the company's future whatsoever.
