yes i agree , bought in today , as a long term hold .
digitalisation will be a big thing for NHS and now the election is over no fear of a
labour appropriation of private assets
I hold kainos and hope this will be a similar investment in the long term

I don't think any GP practice believes either of those aspirations are feasible. EMIS needs to concentrate on its recent service issues.

The Tories grabbed headlines with promises of 50 million more GP appointments and 6,000 more GPs. All good for EMIS. Huge demand coming for EMIS

Rumour is that, now that money is going to be thrown at the NHS, some of the contracts will go to EMIS.

incredibly quiet this board - which I like.

Also ... a stock for whom the question "How does Brexit affect your business?" does not apply.

Goes to highs and beyond in IMV.

news yesterday of further consolidation of it's position in the NHS gives this stock 'sleep well at night' characteristics

And by historical values it's cheap - has five year average PE ratio of 67 ... currently only trading on PE 25.

It is good news as the GP IT futures contract was almost a binary event, that said I can see very few firms not on the contract. My understanding was if not on contract then services would have to be re-tendered to those on the contract within a year.

Price responding to the unequivocally good news today.

Now we know why the directors all bought earlier in the year.

And as has been said ... not Brexit facing.

Really good price to buy
There is no stamp duty on it, so very easy share to sell with no charges. It's in oversold terytory so as soon as few bigger transaction will go through this will jump, one of the shares which can make 7% profit within one day
