18/3/2021 15:18 | also the welsh tender looks interesting and surely they will get a slice of that?? | edwardt
18/3/2021 15:18 | some cost cutting made cashflow look good but management are guiding growth will come back ...with some new product launches coming on stream delayed by the pandemic imo that looks credible to revert to top line growth of 5% fy1 an2 out. Also margins should improve slightly too. As such this is fundamentally sound valuation for what is a perceived as a dull business (tick) but also has a strong potential to grow again to get some multiple expansion. for me it is a slow grind stock that will do better in more volatile markets which we are potentially entering into. | edwardt
18/3/2021 10:26 | edward has the cash flow improved? and if growth has flatlined how can you conclude it will start rising- i read the update as positive but as usual the reaction of the share price is tepid at best | ali47fish
18/3/2021 10:05 | i have this on a equity to free cash flow yield of 6.4%. Now the growth has flatlined but very credible reasons why it will start rising from here. i am in. | edwardt
10/3/2021 19:17 | Good new re a £80ml Wales GP contract. Bizarrely the 2018 framework did not include EMIS or Systm One, the leading GP Supplies by far. Now one of the two nominated suppliers has withdrawn (did not deliver their software, so must have good sales people & gullible procurement team to select such a product in the first place). The other supplier, Vision, does at least have a system but they are a minor player in the rest of the UK and so their ability to invest in their product is questionable. GP's saw that moving from EMIS in the midst of a pandemic was not sensible and so now EMIS look to be on course to rescue their Welsh business in a new expanded framework contract. | gopher
09/3/2021 13:18 | Results out next Thursday, good to see a rising share price in advance. | wad collector
22/1/2021 19:40 | I do like that incremental share price rise in the last couple of months. Nothing spectacular, but happy to hold. | wad collector
22/1/2021 10:33 | Featured in Investor's Champion update: Clearly any significant expansion plans have been put on hold for the time being, but there is plenty of potential once things settle down. The shares are trading at 22x forecast earnings for 2021 which assume only modest growth. | energeticbacker
21/1/2021 08:39 | That cashpot was from end of December year end, that VAT payment is in Q1, which will probably be just about covered from the cash they make in Q1 anyway ? | igoe104
21/1/2021 08:26 | Cash has to subtract GBP7m or so. | johnrxx99
21/1/2021 07:39 | Looks like a.big improvement in trading in H2 and cash is up to 53 million. | igoe104
10/1/2021 11:25 | quite interested in this, given the fact that Covid seems to have accelerated G.P's use of I.T.. Can anyone give me an idea of how the company plans to expand? | harry the haddock
29/12/2020 12:26 | Year end closing price looks like will be over £11 again. | wad collector
20/11/2020 09:48 | Agree the recent share price drop seems surprising in a rising market . It didn't tumble down at the beginning of Covid,(except for a transient overreaction) for obvious reasons , but it is disappointing not to be still falling . However EMIS is one I don't lose sleep over ; it will be here next decade unless it is taken over. | wad collector

13/10/2020 20:23 | Hi all, My mate Peter @Conkers3 and myself did a ‘Twin Petes Investing’ Podcast a few days ago and part of our discussion includes EMIS and our take on increasing need for effective IT in the NHS and government. We also chatted about loads of other Stocks and some Ideas for research, and the outlook for Markets and as usual a fair bit of educational stuff with regards to Investing. Anyway, if you use Apple, Audioboom, Overcast or Spotify you can find it under the 'Conkers Corner' Channel (you want TPI Podcast 33) and you can find it on Soundcloud at the link below. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful, Cheers, WD @wheeliedealer | thewheeliedealer
