I'm not sure I've fallen in love with EMED. A desperate emotional attachment is probably more accurate in the sense that I can't believe I could be so wrong with an investment so I put up with it in the hope and expectation it will come good in the end. A bit like a bad marriage I suppose.

Can't believe anyone seriously wants Harry back.

IMHO the basic problem here is that some posters have been so close to management and what is happening on the ground that they couldn't see what was happening strategically . . . always keep your distance from management and never fall in love with a share IMHO . . .

Harry coming back is pie in the sky, and any one who thinks it is the remotest possibility has not been paying attention and puts greater value on futile nostalgia than investment performance. Besides there is a Royal Decree signed by el Rey Felipe V1 forbidding it. But bw coming back to tell us 'told you so' would be a moment to savour! Your world is upside-down, MrO

Further more I post articles pertinent to EMED whether they are postive or negative. I don't live in laa laa land with my rose tinted glasses on. Its your problem if you can't handle a balanced debate. Something BW had a problem with also.

MCL if I ever meet you face to face will be interesting (I advise against it) . You have been nothing but a miserable git on these boards and continue to be so .

BW has been positive and told us how it is (reported on the interference) ... and I can talk 1st hand having visited the mines with him, and having open conversations with management . we even met CE.

Harry handed over a group ready for permits. We now have the right team to finish job (I hope)

I would welcome Harry back . everyone wants to get mining copper now . Harry / Emed jv with Matsa was always a realistic option . Harry had a problem with Trafigura methods and what they wanted . As a result of meddling everyone is a loser as has taken much longer and missed copper bull mkt. Anyway now is now, everyone is aligned and wants to get mining.

They don't run on "fin" air indeed, a 150 ton mining truck will burn around 75 gallons per hour

Deedee - unfortunately I think the current low oil price will also recover by the time production starts in earnest...

Probably the biggest +ve at the moment is the €-$ rate - the drops in cu price aren't so scary when viewed in € rather than $ (and large % of costs are in €, ie labour)
[and the startup costs are largely in €, so we benefit even though we're not in production]

[also, the current price isn't that related to cu fundamentals - so long as cu is stable it is only related to finance and mp. Although that said the price after finance/permits will depend on cu fundamentals]

Thank you Duchaf I also believe that the strengthening of the us dollar will reflect back on the Chinese market which are considerably interested in copper at the moment and don't forget cheap oil prices means less output on sight these big dumper trucks don't run on fin air thank you for your input and insight I don't often put on these sights but I am a vivid reader good luck to all

DeeDee - My guess - Some weakness as current going forward for a few months... Forward curve is fairly flat. Beyond that should rise back over $3/lb. As there will precious little production in 2015 this should be okay for Emed (2016-18 prices will be crucial, though).

Latest figures show us at cash costs $1.56 per/lb

Hello guys love reading your posts but has everyone forgot the fundamentals of this project. If the copper price drops so low its not worth digging has anyone got any idea what the copper price will be this year any predictions Good luck everyone

Trying to remain dispassionate about HAA... His skills are in the finding of projects and early-stage financing/development. His skills are not particularly relevant to the board given the current state of EMED/PRT.
