interesting $ strength considering the term petrodollar . Ok European Sovereign risk again (Greece + contagion effect, EU recession again) but Brent sub $60 , demand ebbing ... oils is bought in $ . I guess economic fears the biggest concern . Also US almost energy sufficient . View also that oil will not stay at lows as world needs at >80$ to support continued E&P , current production and to balance many oil baring nations budgets.

The fact remains he was close to what was going on; saw the interference first hand . Just for Lanty a small piece on proactive investors EMED Mining (LON:EMED) told investors it expects to receive approval of the final restoration plan for the Rio Tinto project as well as the mining permit by the end of January.The company will then be fully permitted to enable full scale mining and processing operations, it said.
