02/11/2015 10:15 | Jackson, you never know what the share price could do once we get Sepco on-board.... I hope your prediction comes to fruition for sure. I'd be quite happy at half your price for starters but let's see.. GL | andrewh1
02/11/2015 09:05 | I always thought this would come good. I was only kidding about, lol. Once mining licence is gained then sepco will sign the paperwork to come on board as they were waiting on two things IMO. Political stability in Tanzania, which has happened, and edl getting the mining licence which should be a given now. Edl's best share price was a few years ago at 2.5p. Given that the news coming here is going to be transformational and since the 2.5p share high the share amount has doubled I would be hoping for a minimum of 1.5p a share taking into account the larger amount of shares in issue and the fact that this is going to be the biggest news in edl's history. | jacksonpollack
02/11/2015 06:42 | Jackson - you've changed your tune now! Just a bit more patience now and all should fall into place I reckon. The right man got the top job, the opposition was all that was bad from the old days IMO and hopefully the president elect will start to make significant strides to deliver his promise to the people of Tanzania. The guy has a good track record certainly as far as road construction initiatives go and now he's in the top seat will have total autonomy to take other projects forwards. The port that's now under construction may well give us a clue on how important Tanzania will become for Africa as a trade hub, It reminds me of Jebel Ali in Dubai and look how that's developed over the last two + decades. Good times to come to those with patience. ATB | andrewh1

It is also safe and has huge economic potential,” the country is destined to become the economic powerhouse of Africa, “or at least sub-Saharan Africa. It also has a ‘progressive | jacksonpollack
29/10/2015 22:35 | Minister of Energy and Minerals CCM parliamentary candidate who won Sunday’s general election include George Simbachawene Kibakwe. So George has kept his seat and will be back in the office working on important energy matters which will include EDL. That can only be good news as there is no break in the chain of communication. | jacksonpollack

28/10/2015 14:08 | CCM getting ever closer to retaining power in Tanzanian and returning to their desks to continue approving Mining Licence application. They have until Thursday to announce a result, so Friday will be interesting once we know the results. | sausageonastick
27/10/2015 13:49 | So nice to see the blue buys coming in. Looks like ruling party getting back in, and back to their desks and on with the mining licence. No time lost in hand over of power if incumbent gets back in. | sausageonastick
27/10/2015 05:56 | CCM 41 seats, Chadema 15 seats and CUF 5 seats so far. That's 61/264 = 23% of the parliamentary seats accounted for so far which seems to tie in time frame wise with the 3-4 days conclusion time they have estimated. You can follow it on the link below which in my mind from my research the most credible information source I have found. hxxp://www.thecitize | andrewh1

26/10/2015 06:19 | Mr. Pollack - I get the feeling your sentiment might be changing now? Despite the uncertainty currently with the elections, EDL remain an 'African coal explorer' albeit UK registered which in my opinion should fit OK if the opposition win.... | andrewh1
25/10/2015 20:20 | Old, but relevant news. MWANZA, Tanzania - Edenville Energy, an African coal explorer recently announced positive results at its Rukwa coal project’s Namwele deposit, in western Tanzania. This is the first set of detailed coal sampling and test work at the Namwele deposit, in Rukwa region. Edenville Energy is registered in the United Kingdom. The results indicated that the deposit had the potential to provide significantly higher quality coal and a higher washed yield than previously modeled. Over the past three months, test pits were dug to a depth of about 3metres at Rukwa’s Namwele, Mkomolo and Muze deposits, and the samples analysed for quality. Edenville said the results of the Namwele test work indicated the availability of high-quality, near surface coal. Edenville Chief Executive Officer, Mr Rufus Short said: “The results could improve the technical and economic parameters for the coal-to-power development and also forms the basis for a detailed investigation into potential coal sales to the regional market.” He added that test work on the Mkomolo and Muze deposits was well under way with further results expected to be announced by the end of this year (December, 2014). The three coal deposits of Mkomolo, Namwele and Muze all lie within the Rukwa Coalfield. All three projects are controlled by Edenville Energy and sit in a cluster; Namwele and Mkomolo are adjacent and Muze lies just 12km to the east. Edenville Energy has a 90 percent interest in these deposits through Primary Mining Licences (PML). The remaining 10 percent is held by the local partner on the project. EDL also controls the Prospecting Licences surrounding the PML. Rukwa region is currently dependent on electricity imported across the border from Zambia. Edenville’s Rukwa Coalfields projects are located in the Mtwara Development Corridor; a Tanzania government backed development zone and an area of significant energy-related activity. The projects have the potential for low cost setup to generate near-term positive cash flow. The Rukwa Coalfields are strategically located with regards to electrification plan for South Western Tanzania’s scheduled new power transmission lines linking the north and south of Tanzania. | jacksonpollack
25/10/2015 09:54 | An important day for EDL and Tanzania today, if the ruling party stay in then this will speed up the signing of required licenses.... | ![]() bibdaddy
23/10/2015 12:06 | What medication & where can I get some ? :-) | ![]() stevie050
23/10/2015 10:54 | Several years ago the share price went to 2.5p on little news. It's obvious that all investors large and small are waiting for the Tanzanian election results to happen before putting their money in here. If the opposition wins its not the end of the world, it just means long delays and a flat share price If the current government wins then it will be lift off time here as the officials EDL has been talking to will still be in place and the trust and understanding built up between them will still be there. I'm sure the energy shortage has been high on the political mandate and many voting in the elections will be well aware that this would be put in jeopardy if the leadership changes. So in essence the ID eal solution here is the ruling party wins election, investors quickly pile in, EDL signs deal with Chinese partner, mining licence is granted and with all that in place before Christmas the share price surpasses its once high of 2.5p a share. I should point out that my sinuses are blocked up and I am on medication, but it could happen. | jacksonpollack
