This has fallen off the radar apart from those who are in the know who are buying while everyone else is looking the other way. Not seen this sort of buying for a long time, especially the regular 10m chunks.

Recent Meetings with EPC Contractors. During September, several meetings have taken place with potential EPC partners, including, amongst others, very positive further meetings with Shandong Electric Power Construction No.2 Company (SEPCO2) and other potential partners in China. These potential partner discussions remain ongoing and the Company looks forward to updating the market as they move to conclusion in the coming months.

Another key milestone, announced on 1 July 2015, was the submission of the application package for the Mining Licence to the Tanzanian Ministry of Mining, Energy and Minerals (MEM) for the Rukwa Project. The application required data from the Power Plant Feasiblity Study, the EIA approval, along with a detailed Mine Plan, CSR Policy, Procurement Plan and Employment Plan. Edenville's executive team worked closely with its Tanzanian consultants, Tansheq to compile the documentation package. A formal response is expected before the end of the year, although the timing of any decision by the MEM is outside our control.

Rufus Short, CEO of Edenville commented, "Edenville continues to progress the Rukwa Coal to Power project, with attention focused on the selection of EPC and financial partners. We have made significant progress in this area over the past 6 months and aim to complete the process during Q4, 2015, but external factors beyond our control may influence timing. We will pursue an integrated approach to project development, with the aim of implemention alongside the Tanzanian authorities, to provide a successful outcome for all stakeholders. During Q4, when all interested parties will have concluded meetings and put forward formal proposals, we expect our discussions to reach a point where a structured, multi-party plan can allow the project to progress to the stage where advanced discussions on timing for project development can be entered into with the Tanzanian authorities.

Any update after just shy of 6 months??

So much to be updated on that isn't the mining licence. So I'll say again

Looks like this is EDL's moment to shine in 2016. They have a minimum of 170 million tons of proven coal resource in a country desperate for it. Tanzania has relaxed the rules further on foreign investment and released the stranglehold Tanesco had on the energy sector there. EDL is almost there with Chinese company Sepco as a partner to finance and oversee the building of a major power plant and they have also signed up with the giant Runh company to help build the power plant.. Everything is in place now for a huge step forward both for the company and its share price. The full mining licence application has been in the hands of the Tanzanian government for nearly 6 mths now so it is only a matter of days possibly weeks away from being approved and then the share price will blow big time.
