12/10/2015 13:40 | Nice to see Edenville in the blue today.Long may it last. Jackson, nowhere in my post 6720 did I mention a positive or negative impact on the share price, so how you can say "you are already presuming that the mining licence is going to do nothing to the sp" is ridiculous. Stick to the facts, I'll tell you want I tel my 6 yr old - read what's on the paper not what you think is on the paper. | sausageonastick
10/10/2015 09:31 | Jacksonp , the only thing that will move the share price is a takeout , possible 50% rise ,or substantial financing by outside people , both events will never happen , hence the share price is where it is , it's a scam to keep dodgy Directors in well paid jobs ,goes on all the time on AIM. | ![]() jotoha2
10/10/2015 00:47 | Sausage. Well played. So you are already presuming that the mining licence is going to do nothing to the sp, just as every single other piece of informations the bods/clowns have given out. So what next, the water level news in 8mths. No that will do nothing to the share price either. So a year maybe two years down the line what is going to get the share price here to at least double where it is at the moment? | jacksonpollack
09/10/2015 13:47 | For me the licence, along with the already obtained EIA, mean that Edenville can legally dig up the coal, and as they say "Having a Mining Licence in place will significantly enhance our options for development and positively affects our discussion with both potential partners and sources of finance for project development." Essentially, being legally able to dig up the coal should start the domino effect of deals landing - mining jv, take off agreement, cfps EPC jv will all be positively impacted imvho. I guess what I'm saying is, I don't see the licence approval as the end game, but the starting pistol of the next phase. | sausageonastick
08/10/2015 21:46 | It is very straightforward Jacksonpollack. A lot of work goes into applying for licenses. These things can be time consuming. The company cannot afford to fall into any pitfalls. It can be a complicated process. Once everything is in order then just wait for supply and demand to do its magic. TMK | tees maar khan

05/10/2015 11:39 | The perfect combination With Edenville announcing "During September, several meetings have taken place with potential EPC partners, including, amongst others, very positive further meetings with Shandong Electric Power Construction No.2 Company (SEPCO2) and other potential partners in China." Also announced (hxxp://www.wantchin So the Chinese mining company has created a company in partnership with the Tanzanian NDC (so I'm sure it is a favourite of the Tanzanian Government) and is moving mining equipment into Tanzania. Wouldn't the perfect partnership be the EPC that Edenville are talking to about mining the coal is the Chinese company Sichuan Hongda Corporation (via the Tanzania China International Mineral Resources), and the cpfs EPC being SEPCO. Hence why they all met in China. The Tanzanian government could therefore be reviewing the mining licence application in the knowledge that it's NDC is in for $$$$ via its involvement in Tanzania China International Mineral Resources mining Edenville's coal. Just my thoughts, but for me the mining JV company will be known, and a friend of the Chinese cfps EPC SEPCO, and if the Tanzanian governement can put some business the way of the Tanzania China International Mineral Resources company which its National Development Corporation is part of, then everyone's a winner. C'mon Mr MEM get on with the reading!!! | sausageonastick

04/10/2015 10:02 | A year old but still, relevant. DAR ES SALAAM — Tanzania will start construction next year of a long-planned $3bn coal and iron ore mine and a 600-megawatt coal-fired power plant, a spokesman for the state development agency said on Thursday. The projects, on a site 900km southwest of commercial capital Dar es Salaam, were initially set out three years ago under a joint venture deal with a Chinese company. They are part of plans to increase the east African country’s coal-fired power generation capacity and exports, exploiting its five billion tonnes of coal reserves. East Africa’s second-biggest economy suffers from frequent blackouts due to supply shortfalls, forcing most businesses and wealthy people to have stand-by generators, and it is trying to ease the constraints cited as a barrier to economic growth. Tanzania already produces coal from two mines, mainly for power generation. Coal production is part of its broader energy strategy, which includes exploiting recent big natural gas finds off its southern coast. China’s Sichuan Hongda signed a $3bn deal with Tanzania in 2011 to mine coal and iron ore and build the coal-fired power plant, a deal that marked China’s growing economic presence in the country. Under the agreement, the coal mine and electricity generation project are expected to cost $1.3bn, while the iron ore mine will cost $1.7bn. Abel Ngapemba, spokesman for the National Development Corporation (NDC), said Tanzania planned to raise its stake in the venture to 49% from 20%, as envisaged in the original deal. "We expect the project to be completed in 2018/19," he said. The mine has the country’s biggest iron ore reserves at more than 1.2-billion tonnes, mostly destined for export, and reserves of 526-million tonnes of coal for local electricity generation. Tanzania passed legislation in 2010 that allows the government to own a stake in strategic mining projects. Mr Ngapemba said the NDC had also received bids for a separate project that aimed to build the country’s first soda ash extraction plant, capable of producing about one million tonnes a year. However, conservationists have said the project could harm flamingo populations in Tanzania’s Lake Natron and have demanded an independent environmental study. Mr Ngapemba said an environmental assessment would be done before the project was implemented. | jacksonpollack
02/10/2015 15:03 | The truth is Edenville is up again today, the bid is up as people buy in before the weekend. The licence approval could come at anytime, including Monday morning. | sausageonastick
