Mining Licence Application UpdateEdenville Energy plc (AIM: EDL), the company developing a coal to power project in south western Tanzania, is pleased to provide a further update concerning its Mining Licence Application for the Rukwa Coal Project. The submission of the Mining Licence Application to the Tanzanian Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MEM) was announced on 1 July 2015. Subsequent to the update provided on 23 September 2015 the Company is pleased to confirm that the further information recently requested by the MEM has been provided to them. The Company, alongside Tansheq, its specialist consultants based in Dar es Salaam, continues to work with the MEM to progress the application to its completion, the timing of which remains subject to the MEM. Further updates will be provided as appropriate.

Sausage you muppet. That news is over 3 months old, lol. It didn't do anything to the share price then and it certainly won't do anything for the share price now. What would bring confidence back here and shoot the share price up is if the bod were given the chop. But that's not going to happen as they are riding on the Edl gravy train and milking it for all they can get.

I don't think we'll see 0.04 again after today.

Bid up giving just a 10% (which is narrow for Edenville) spread.

After today the announcement could come at anytime, no one know the volume of extra data submitted or the time taken to approve the additional information, but the Tanzanian election is coming soon.

Mchuchuma Coal Mine is a coal mine and 600-megawatt (MW) thermal power station in Tanzania.

It was announced in September 2011 that China's Sichuan Hongda Co. Ltd. signed a $3 billion deal with Tanzania to mine coal and iron ore in Tanzania. The investment involves construction of the Mchuchuma Coal Mine and an accompanying 600-megawatt (MW) thermal power station. It is estimated that Mchuchuma coal deposits have more than 480 million tonnes of coal reserves.[1]

A new company, Tanzania China International Mineral Resources (TCMR), has been created to build the mines with the Chinese mining company taking a 80 per cent stake. The remainder of the company will be owned by Tanzania’s state-run National Development Corporation; although there are reports that NDC will be able to increase its stake to 49 per cent once Sichuan Hongda has recovered its original investment.[2]

Oh, here we go. All the usual suspects/rampers on lse now calling October the month the mining licence will land, lol. It will soon be six years since this sham of a company was formed and in that time it has never made a profit. All it's done is string pi's along and pay directors wages with the help of placing after placing after placing.

Proceeds come from £10k gamble in REM in March 2013. Bet you missed that one as well!
Not sure what astude means so I'm guessing you mean astute.
I'll take lucky and hope lightning strikes again but quite happy just to double my money.
