In the run up to whatever happens at Powering Africa, just remember why we are here

The total in-situ tonnages contained within coal zones is now estimated at 173 million tonnes Measured, Indicated and Inferred for the three deposits evaluated, of which 57.5 million tonnes is Measured and Indicated at 17.42 MJ/kg (float density = 2.0, yield = 34.4%).

Just 35% of current coal resource has been assessed.

This provides sufficient fuel to support 50 year power plant.

Possible economics, on a 10c / KW hr tariff a 100MW plant would realise revenue of approximately $7m per month or $84m per annum. Fuel (coal) and running costs along with the cost of the financing would have to be subtracted from this.

The Directors of Edenville understand a planned power line from north to south along the western side of the country will pass close to Edenville's coal deposit.

Expression of Interest sign with Asian arm of EPC. Met with SEPCO (Asian EPC) at least twice (photo’s appeared on SEPCO website with Rufus Short twice).

Board reorganisation in June 2015 to reflect the needs of the business. This happened after meeting SEPCO where the Finance Director left the Board. My opinion is that this lined up Edenvilles Board structure to one that is favourable with SEPCO.

Commenced a water survey and sampling programme to provide data for the Power Plant EIA.

Cost analyses have been received from several EPC groups. Additional visits to Tanzania by potential partners are expected and continuing technical and commercial analysis by the groups concerned is being undertaken in conjunction with the Edenville team.

Publication of positive Power Plant Feasibility Study confirming the commercial viability of a coal-fired power station located at the Rukwa Coal Project.

Awarded the mining Environmental Impact Assessment ("EIA") Certificate which approves coal mining at the Namwele and Mkomolo coal deposits near Lake Rukwa in Tanzania.

Await Mining Licence approval, all in the hands of MEM. The submission of the Mining Licence Application to the Tanzanian Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MEM) was announced on 1 July 2015. Subsequent to the update provided on 23 September 2015 the Company is pleased to confirm that the further information recently requested by the MEM has been provided to them.

Edenville commenced formal review process of the Rukwa Power Plant Feasibility with Tanzania's MEM and Tanesco a key step in advancing the Rukwa Coal to Power Project to the development stage. This formal process will review and assess proposed power generation projects to satisfy commercial and regulatory requirements.

During Q4, when all interested parties will have concluded meetings and put forward formal proposals, we expect our discussions to reach a point where a structured, multi-party plan can allow the project to progress to the stage where advanced discussions on timing for project development can be entered into with the Tanzanian authorities.

Hardly surprising given we are now 25 days post 31 October and not a sausage on the mining licence...

Look at the past 3 years. No matter what the spread has done the share price has kept falling and confidence too.

Jp

The fact remains that a lot of private investors are put off by a wide spread (wrongly in my opinion). I still maintain, despite your eloquent rebuttal, that a narrow spread MAY encourage greater volume irrespective of whether or not the share price is affected.

Sausage. The reason a lot of the bods are going is its free, well, all paid for by share holders. First class flights, accomodation, food and drinks and sightseeing. It wouldn't surprise me if they put all their gifts for family and friends whilst there on the shareholder tab as well. We want and need action here not freebies for the bod on top of their over generous wages.
