The Dow fell 12.94% today.

The worst day in 1929 was a decline of 12.82%.

Climate change the big winner.

Extra 3rd runway for Heathrow - never going to happen.

Look after your family and neighbours.

Yep we are at a momentous point in history.
Kids in 2030 will not believe we could hop on a plane for £100 or so and travel thousands of miles. Or that there were mega cruisers ferrying old people around the oceans without a care in the world.
Those kids will be happy with a virtual weekend in Bognor

With inflation, that would be approx. 25 billion today. But the situation is far worse now.

Interest free government loans to many businesses will be the only option. But how long will that last for ?

Travel will be a thing of the past. Rail companies today asking for help. And London Underground have seen a drop of 50% in the last week.

Not just airlines , but many industries, pubs, restaurants, cinemas will all disappear. The world will be a far diffrent place for those who survive , many without a job, family members and no money left.

Reset.

The Wall Street Journal reported that U.S. airlines were in talks to obtain as much as $50 billion in financial assistance.

"The exact form of the aid-and the amount-that carriers are seeking is under discussion, and could include government-backed loans, cash grants or other measures including relief from taxes and fees," the Journal reported, citing sources.

Cheers 1 pound. It's not a problem and an easy way to help others. Just keep an eye on your neighbours and say hello every day.

Good press conference from the PM and CMO.

I use easy, its a good airline, but I cant see this really having any value above a couple of quid punt now, zero income, huge costs even with planes parked. God, I offloaded 55K of these at 1400 and was kicking myself when they went to 1550, seems a long time ago but was in fact just weeks.

Yes, apparently every industry in the country will be bankrupt if this lasts for 12 months.

Just been grocery shopping for an elderly neighbour who is too frightened to even leave her house.

Anyone else helping others ?

Bull trap after bull trap, trading sideways now to support distribution (to the clinically insane).

Auto relegation from the FTSE100 the next event in my amateur opinion.
