BREAKING Scandinavian Airlines to suspend all flight operations:

Due to the coronavirus and the measures implemented by national authorities, the demand for air travel is essentially non-existent. SAS has therefore decided to put most of its operations on hold, starting Monday March 16 and until necessary prerequisites for commercial air traffic returns.

To support our customers, we will in the next few days do our utmost to uphold a certain level of operation to enable travelers to return from their destinations.

Germany will close its borders with France, Austria and Switzerland from Monday, according to the German newspaper Bild.

Closing of the border was not only to contain the Covid-19 epidemic but also to prevent panic bulk purchases by foreigners which was apparently causing supply problems in areas around the borders.

Disgraceful isn’t it? That IAG, KLM, EZY and the other outfits are begging for their nation’s money? That is after having a jolly two months taking in passenger’s money concurrent to MINDLESSLY DISTRIBUTING CORONAVIRUS SARS-2 GLOBALLY!!!

Such total hypocrisy.

Dutch finance minister Wobke Hoekstra said Sunday that the Netherlands will do “everything it takes” to keep Air France-KLM operating.

Hoekstra would not give any details about a possible bail out but stressed that Air France-KLM was “vital for the Dutch economy” and said he was in close contact with his French colleagues and the Air France management.

On Friday, KLM, the Dutch subsidiary of Air France-KLM, said it would slash up to 2,000 jobs and ask for government support as it cuts working hours by one-third across its entire staff.

1NHS. Thanks. The text is fine now.As far as your predictions are concerned they are proving to be uncannily accurate re the stock market and grounding of passenger aircraft fleets are concerned.I am hoping the rest of your analysis turns out to be wrong obviously. However I paid attention to your earlier suggestions regarding personal protection.Hope others did.
