15/4/2024 11:59 | Cev, datatit thinks Roll Royce will go back to producing Merlin engines just like they did in WW2 , thousands of new planes. Must be his meds, he basically makes it up as he goes along. | noramping
15/4/2024 11:13 | Datattit, do you ever learn? Why do you post when everything you predict is so wrong? What a bizzare way you view information. | cevodniya
15/4/2024 10:17 | If datatit is spouting his wisdom, then it’s time to do the opposite and buy. The 2 faced clown | noramping

14/4/2024 19:02 | Interesting analysis by Jeremy Bowen of the BBC. It sounds like Iran want to calm the situation now they have finished with their retaliation. So if Biden can pursuade Israel to see the attack as a victory for them then maybe it should bring an end to the hostility for the timebeing. The markets went into the weekend aware of an imminent attack and so as things have panned out as not too badly, its not out of the question there could be a rally. | amt
14/4/2024 16:36 | But they still have their own agenda. Israel calling it quits for now. But saying a response will come on their own time. Probably try and assassinate a few more top Iranian personnel at some stage. Regime change in Iran would be great. But preferably that come from their own people, instead of US interference (like Iraq, Afghanistan, Ukraine) etc etc. Anyways, hopefully not a bloodbath on the markets tomorrow. The EZJ share price surge has well and truly been kicked in the knackers. Short term anyway.Expectations of 7-8 quid share price paired back to Autumn 2025. | chiefbrody
14/4/2024 11:13 | What a misrepresentation of the facts regarding BBC reporting. Now they are accused of causing the escalation. Quite extraordinary. I know the BBC make mistakes buy fortunately they are scrutinised more than any other media outlet so overall are one of the fairest media reporting outlet we have in the World. | amt
14/4/2024 07:59 | It must be recognised that Israel crossed the line attacking military personnel on foreign soil for a country that they are not at war with. A response from Iran was inevitable and now we have it. Minimal damage. The Iranian weapons were neutralised. There will be lots of words. Commercial flights resume from Israel. This was the best outcome. Hopefully they take the opportunity for a return to the normal daily life in the region. Ultimately though Israel needs to stop their campaign of murder in Gaza and those responsible need to be bought to justice. Back to easyJet. They are way too cheap. | sapphireblue1
14/4/2024 07:00 | None at all that was Friday and this is Sunday so their rumours about a Friday attack were baseles. They were part of a series of reports that made this outcome inevitable and provided no other alternative. The BBC are disgusting, they should be reporting the news not rumours and guesses. They are trying to be the news and that's not a healthy thing. A response was inevitable. That response has failed. Now they should seize the opportunity. Unfortunately the BBC would rather just report escalation for clicks on their app. | sapphireblue1
14/4/2024 06:55 | Some appologies obviously in order for those completely unwarranted attacks on the BBC who were absolutely spot on with their reports as we now see events unfold in the Middle East. | amt
14/4/2024 05:30 | So as expected there's now an opportunity to end the matter. Iran say that they consider the matter concluded. The US says that they don't seek escalation. Hopefully Israel do also consider the matter closed. It shows that the conventional weaponry available to Iran is not a threat to Israel. A thwarted large scale attack was the best possible outcome and gives Israel no platform. Iran doesn't need to respond further now. Israel are the loose canon in the region and now the US needs to reign them in from escalation. Hopefully a line has been drawn that tells Israel that murdering military personnel on foreign soil is not acceptable. The war will now be a war of words in my opinion. Israel will no doubt continue it's murderous campaign in Gaza. They fail to see the connection between their actions and the recruitment of fighters. The actions now secure generations of future fighters. | sapphireblue1
13/4/2024 22:40 | Drones on their way from Iran to Israel as we speak. You may call it scaremongering cos it's not what anyone wants to hear, but the BBC have many experienced journalists on the ground. | buoycat
13/4/2024 17:52 | Inflation to rise then and no interest rate cuts | rolo7
13/4/2024 17:10 | Chiefbrody, so does your post make you a bear or a bull? | cevodniya
13/4/2024 14:56 | Oil prices are poised to hit $100 a barrel by May, analysts have warned, as Saudi Arabia extends supply cuts.Rising geopolitical tensions and an extension to the Opec cartel's production curbs mean economists predict oil prices will surpass $100 for the first time since summer 2022. Bjarne Schieldrop, chief commodities analyst at SEB bank, said he expects the price of Brent crude, the global benchmark, will hit this threshold in either May or June. Mr Schieldrop said: "Towards the end of Q2, I think it's natural to assume that we'll see the price move towards the $100 mark." Daily Telegraph. Can't remember how much EZJ are hedged for this year. Probably a fair amount but prices will have to rise (let's face it flying is so cheap) | chiefbrody
13/4/2024 09:34 | However when looking for factors that may influence others to make decisions it's a powerful force. It doesn't need to be true, just how many people will believe it or think others will believe it. A prime example the poster who sold all their holding as per the post yesterday. Were they in fear of war or thought others may believe the story. That person thought that they saw an opportunity to gain on the back of others misery and fear. Obviously this share will bounce back, it's way too cheap. I bought at 521 and I think by the 18th that will look very good | sapphireblue1 |
