24/1/2023 22:21 | I agree this world is now unstable If Russia get away with invading Ukraine. China will invade Taiwan and north Korea will invade south Korea. Or we will all die in a nuclear exchange. So all shares will be immaterial. | peteret
24/1/2023 18:40 | They'll never hit £18 (more shares in issue now etc). I'm guessing £7-9 might be doable on a few years though. Before the next catastrophic event hits airlines. | chiefbrody
24/1/2023 16:31 | Had a nice rise hope the trading update, is superb. | montyhedge
24/1/2023 15:23 | EZJ almost touched £18 a few years back. Today's share price is daft and just reflects accumulated debt and the general fear factor. They are one of the busiest airlines. If they can't survive who can? I'm hoping for a long but sustained recovery and/or them being bought out by IAG. | daisylove
23/1/2023 14:31 | I reckon oil price will fall, who benefits airlines, just my opinion. | montyhedge
18/1/2023 16:20 | ABSOLUTE JUNK THEY ARE FORWARD selling shares ready for the HUGE DUMP Debt huge everyone is broke compared to before only the big boys got real cake & they can't make up the numbers so this cheap holiday company is dead | scamsexposed
18/1/2023 15:47 | Sikh, what they don't tell you is that overheads have gone up substantially more than that,Lets see what the bottom line is when they report. | jugears
18/1/2023 15:33 | "Official data showed that air fares jumped 44.1% compared with a year earlier as carriers report strong demand for flights despite the cost-of-living crunch squeezing UK households." Exactly, as expected yet again, Jugears. Regardless of cost of living, people go on holiday for sake of the kids and their own wellbeing. sikhthetech - 14 Oct 2022 - 12:45:33 - 16261 of 16475 Easyjet 2014 I think people will move more to low cost airlines like EZJ to save money. People don't give up holidays, they simply down grade to shorter trips, more cost effective hols, which is perfect for carriers like EZJ. Look at the period during covid. People didn't give up holidays and sat at home because of covid, staycation flourished. Then when other countries opened up, they went abroad as soon as they could. | sikhthetech
18/1/2023 15:30 | Spain lifted it's remaining covid restrictions only 3 months ago. Spain is Britons no1 destination for sun. People, who were reluctant to travel, due to possible restrictions in Europe or when returning to UK now have complete freedom. There are thousands of people delaying buying a house due to forecasts of housing market crash. Those potential homebuyers will still go on holiday but will have more money than expected, as they're not paying for expensive mortgage. Homes got a boost due to covid. Now people living with covid so there's pent up demand for holidays. The situation has reversed. | sikhthetech
18/1/2023 11:31 | Record Jump in Air Fares for UK Holidaymakers in Bookings. Prices soar 44% in December amid strong demand for getaways Low-cost carriers warn of end to cheap travel in Europe Low-cost carriers in Europe have warned that the days of ultra-cheap air fares are coming to an end. Photographer: Angel Garcia/Bloomberg 18 January 2023 at 10:13 GMT British holidaymakers seeking a winter getaway have been hit by the fastest increase in air fares since records began as airlines warn passengers of an end to budget travel. Official data showed that air fares jumped 44.1% compared with a year earlier as carriers report strong demand for flights despite the cost-of-living crunch squeezing UK households. | crazi

17/1/2023 12:56 | Oil will bounce back too imo the airlines have had a great run, you can stay greedy but is it worth it at this point? | topazfrenzy
17/1/2023 11:54 | I wouldn't be drawn in to the fact that people are booking holidays abroad, the number is still vastly down on pre Covid levels, margins are extremely tight in the leisure industry, you need to put a lot of bums on seats just to brake even, planes need to be near full to make a profit even more so now than before covid, Imo this is a ticking time bomb, holidays & travel are an extremely competitive business, you can sell a million seats but if you are only making a pound after costs its going to take a long time to pay your debts off, planes need to be inspected & maintain regardless of whether they carry passenger or not, better companies than this have gone bust in the past & you never know when the next world disaster is waiting round the next corner! | jugears |
