Took all day and hit 440 there for one second and within 2 minutes it was back at 429. Unbelievable...

The UK economy EXPANDED in November, smashing downbeat market expectations and signalling the coming recession could be short lived, official #GDP figures out today reveal.

Good news:-) With December retail higher than expected that would mean the UK is not in a recession at all.. and the FTSE is only 40 points away from an all time high.



EasyJ even much further behind than I thought then... corporate Brokers need the sack..

Wizz up 5% already this morning and EasyJ a miserable 2% --- falling even further behind.

BA and Jet2 setting the pace back at April share prices now!

For EZJ that equates to almost 600p ish . Hold for more in the next few trading sessions i think !

American Airlines figures today were superb, ok US but shows airlines all over the world must be making good profits now.

Do you really think people will starve so they can take there kid on holiday? you don't need to spend money on holidays to spend time with your kids you can do that at home, but its not the people paying to go on holiday its the profit margin or not in many cases that the companies are making & its very little, ad on to that the cost of borrowing money to serve your companies debt & you are getting virtually no return. I think ezj are a long way out of the woods yet, imo £3.80 was more than a fair price & could very easily fall back to that at the drop of a hat, very risky territory at the moment IMO.

Sikh I have sold twice at £3.80 quit happy with my 59p profit the second time round thanks, far to risky with all that debt & only driven by hype! Its ok selling holidays & Flights but does that very tight bottom line cover debt & running cost?, bit like Ocado here if you ask me.

Director buying shares at 392 (EUR444)... Always a good sign...

Wizz at 2600. If Easyjet was recovering at the same pace (especially considering it has much less debt and making more money) it should be at 450 by now (current 398). So over 50p lagging behind. Says a lot about the performance difference in Corporate Brokers...

Wizz is "flying". Last time Wizz hit 2400 --- Easyjet was at 425... lagging @380

I'm not expert. I'm a long term investor who looks for well ran companies who are struggling due to external circumstances that are no likely to last more than a year or two. In that time the poorly ran companies in the sector will fall away and when the sector recovers well ran ones will also then mop up customers from the failed companies. For me the two companies that will come back strongly are easyjet and jet2.
