But cashmachine, why would you trust this announcement, when all other recent announcements would now seem to be misleading?

Does this management team have a grip on their business? In my opinion, the evidence suggests not.

Boozy/Loverat - apologies.So in one day the company has had £125m wiped off the value and is now valued at £45mConsidering HH was recently increasing to 22m shares, I hardly think them and several of the other IIs will sit back when there's been a reduction yes, but the concerted effort to knock out the bid is a clear bear raid. You only need to read the announcement again and look at the other recent trading updates to conclude has the business really been devalued by 72%....

Agreed - there are a few decent posters around still.

But also one or two derampers are useful trading indicators. Just need to remember to do the opposite to what they say when the stock looks close to the bottom.

Bozzy_s is a decent poster and worth reading even if you disagree.

But I think with a 75% fall in one day this will bounce regardless of whether this was overvalued or not. Whether the business itself will recover from then on is something people will be divided over.

cashmachine2, it's not about me, I'm commenting on the company / stock. Absolutely no need to degenerate into personal attacks / comments / criticisms / observations.

I've simply picked some numbers from the balance sheet and given my view based around those.

Loverat, absolutely right, best way to make money is to follow successful investors. Those who don't need to bother with personal attacks (be they against bulls or bears).

profit forecast reduced to £9m for 2016, slashed from £22m...I still think tahts' ambitious, nearer £4-5m at best imvho

There's alot to be said for not bothering with charts, fundamentals and balance sheets and management. You can do well by following a few posters around.

In 2014 I made good money from Stigologist and Deanroberhunt. Stig is getting a few calls right this year but DR is my main man this year.

It's not automatically a bargain after a 75% fall on the back of a slightly negative trading statement - that's what caught my attention today - seemed a big over-reaction for a not-company-ending RNS.

The issue is this seems to have been hugely overvalued before today. Balance sheet shows negative net tangible assets, net current liabilities, and almost zero cash (approx 3p per share).

I'm surprised how quickly some big names changed their minds earlier today. Strong sell to speculative buy in the space of minutes. £50m still seems expensive to me. Maybe they'll do well in the busy Christmas period and come through unscathed. But very little padding / leeway in the balance sheet to weather a poor couple of months.

Let them carry on deramping. The stuff they say always amuses me and their posts are often useful for future reference. Usually it is the deanroberhunts, Stigologists and Bad Robots of this site that highlight good recovery plays or future bounces.

Same names crop up over and over.

Please if you are going to deramp at least keep it slightly in line with reality.

Dean usually finds himself on the opposite team in these situations, think he got a real rogering in HSS so now he's firmly in the other camp.

Come on dean this well overdone. Seen miles worse TU that resulted in much lower drops, special situation here with funds nearly holding all the stock, one bails and its carnage.
