There's a broker update out this morning. Can anyone here access Liberium research (also available through Research Tree)?

"Group revenue was approximately 11% ahead of the first half of the previous financial year, and the trading momentum has continued into the third quarter of the financial year." The last 2022 forecast I saw, pre suspension, was sales of £407.8m, which would be a 6.7% increase on 2021 (of £382.1m). Due to operational gearing that was forecast to lead to an increase in PBT of 35.2%.

Mmm. One could look at this a number of ways and not all of them are good. Let's hope for a good trading update tomorrow and then a 'draw in the line' resolution of whatever is this corporate governance issue.

They are (or were!) the Audit and Risk Committee. They are clearly taking the rap for the corporate governance issue. Nothing too surprising in that, but what is surprising is that we have had no update on progress on the issue. However, I'd expect some news on that tomorrow, as part of the trading update.

So, two non-execs have resigned with immediate effect and without thanks. It seems our corporate governance issue has taken a significant step towards resolution. Whether good or bad, I don't know. The trading update tomorrow will be interesting.

Generally we get a trading update early Feb and the interims early Mar. The half year has already ended (end of December). If the review takes much longer, they'll be able to announce them at the same time as last years finals... Hopefully, by the time they do get to issue the results of the review and the finals, they'll be able to issue a least a pretty firm trading statement indicating further significant growth in profits.

If DX get Express sorted next they could walk into a potential client and offer to do everything under one roof, ie supply chain, manage warehouse, bulk/ugly deliveries, 2 man bespoke, small packages, mail etc. Truly unique

Well, whatever the issue for the suspension, DX are firmly focused on expanding that much is clear. One assumes the demand is there !

If you were to believe SteMiS that he has personal assurance from the FD that the issue is not material The FD gave me no such 'personal assurance' Edit: indeed was careful to emphasise that he could not give me inside information. He did agree however that the board were very surprised at the share price reaction If the rise in the share price back to pre announcement levels is indicative of insider trading (as you seem to be implying), maybe you examine the date when it started and what happened around that time...

The 25% correction in the share price on 25 November caused by the vague announcement of a governance issue - the use of the word "detailed" in today's confirmation of suspension something of an untruth - was followed by immediate insider buying, and pretty high volumes in recent weeks to restore the share price Coincidental? If you were to believe SteMiS that he has personal assurance from the FD that the issue is not material, as if insiders know something the market has not been told, then they certainly have governance issues now if they didn't before. Why would you say things to a punter in a private call which are not in the public domain? Whether or not there is a promising business outlook for DX Group the behaviour of some members of the board ... not just strange announcements and a failure to publish AA, correlated insider trading, personal stake building by the CEO to an unusual material level, the creepy way announcements morphed from turning the company back in to one which could reinstate shareholder returns to one exclusively invested in growth surprising some large external shareholders ... all feels a bit dodgy and manipulated for the benefit of a few key individuals? The issue is by definition material, because it has caused the AA to be delayed and shares to be suspended and it has remained unresolved for 6 months. There may yet be the chance of a happy outcome but I would not be daring to suggest anyone to invest or remain invested or to assume the best.

SteMIS, Commenting on current trading in the announcement did not in any way rule out issues identified with prior year reporting. The announcement was undoubtedly ambiguous in this respect, as clearly illustrated by the consequences for the share price.

Share will fly to 45 then be fairly flat imo, freight is holding up the group as express needs surgery to open its huge potential, exchange will continue to shrink
