Pete I would recommend trying the Rum neat - very pleasant. You may be surprised. Goes well with a nice Cigar.

Last years h/y was £666,000 - This years h/y was £818,000 a 22.82% increase

Last years f/y was £1.642 mln a 246.55% increase over last years h/y (£666,000)

I would assume a figure of £818 * 2.4655 = £2.016 mln

We'll get to know where the company is within a few weeks with the next update. I am not so sure what the volumes are through Amazon but Redleg's position gives an idea of popularity.

Growth in volumes is organic growth currently rather than growth caused by new listings. As growth is around 4-6% as a whole for the Rum sector to get 20% for Redleg shows an increasing distribution.

With the new Blackwoods bottle design I would expect to see stocks of eh old design run down before release of the new bottle. It would be very useful if all could keep an eye out on the shelves for the new bottle and post up here when one is seen on the shelves.

Blackwoods Vodka, Gin and Redleg Rum (and yet talked about Jago and Diva Vodka) all have new markets to find and grow into for 2018 and beyond. Look forward to continued growth and development of the brands and company and will raise a glass or two of the company's finest tonight. Happy new year all and peace and good tidings for 2018. B3

If Distil's revenue is up by 85% on last year then t/o will be in excess of £3m with net profit better than last year..touchwood

That is showing relevance rather than best sellers, which is not necessarily the same thing. You can see its not ordered in terms of sales, since if one searches 'rum' instead of 'spiced rum' then RedLeg becomes overtaken (for instance, by 'dead head')

Blackwood's Gin currently unavailable online at Tesco, and Redleg Rum not available online at ASDA.

Are they flying off the shelves? Or being discontinued?

Brilliant article and just goes to show that we're in a booming market, and with an excellent brand too! Distil's current valuation is ridiculous but at least it's still offering a chance to perceptive investors to enter before it really takes off in 2018. Cheers Berny.
