I think CPS is saying that he HAS already sold down, although he didn't quite put it like that. Unless he has a willing buyer there is no way he could shift volumes of stock at the moment, so I think he is stuck with a million whether he likes it or not. A bit like a larger version of Leedsu and myself in fact!

"Why would anyone spend time on a BB if they didn't hold any shares in the company?"

The same reason why people demonstrate against the war in Afghanistan. They nor any of their family are soldiers where their lifes may be at risk. They have no relatives in Afghanistan who may be victims of the war. They have no financial interest in Afghanistan where they could lose money as a result of the war. So why demonstrate?

They demonstrate because they care for others.

goodnight.

"I am honestly struggling to understand why no-one calls him a basher. Other posters get slagged for obvious deramping but people seem to be more lenient with him."

People may appear to be lenient with me because there is no evidence that I am a stock basher or deramper. What's the purpose or fun in watching people exactly like myself lose their hard earned cash. Why do it? is it for thrills? is it for ego. Why make yourself unpopular, why is it cool to have no friends on share bulletin boards.

People often compare AIM trading to a casino but they are wrong. You lose far more on the AIM than you would on a drunken night at a casino. And furthermore at a casino the tables are not rigged against you.

I treat losing money on shares very seriously and I am utterly flabberghasted as to why the FSA allows this to go on day after day. Most of these companies on the AIM are not companies at all they are fronts for raising money to keep directors and their wives in the lavish lifestyles they're accustomed to. Only about 10% of AIM companies are serious vehicles for investment.

If anybody on these threads cost private investors money its not me. Its the rampers who only accentuate the positives whilst offloading into any spikes.

No problem with that. Obviously DXR is going nowhere in the near future.

Anyway its my money and I do WTF I want with it.

I have a broad spread of holdings and this is one of my medium size holdings and I feel comfortable to hold this longer-term.
If I felt I my holding here was over exposed I would have sold down like Kenny to diversify

And my point is...why have you sold.

leedsu36 - Once the investments have been made here there will be yet another crop of PI's who will curse the name of he who cannot be named (Epic designation CNT). I am honestly struggling to understand why no-one calls him a basher. Other posters get slagged for obvious deramping but people seem to be more lenient with him.

Good evening all,

I nor fairdeal have sold any of our shares and I have no intention of doing anything until I can see what TW proposes.

I was made an insider to help TW show me what sort of deals he could achieve (Ascot)

I did ask TW whether he knew who the 7% purchaser was and he indicated that several members of the Rivington/Tips staff had purchased shares????????

I am looking for good things to come and its fair to give TW a chance to show us what he can do. If you don't want to give him a chance then sell up and get out. Kenny abviously wants more diversification in his portfolio. He had too much exposure in here and thats a very shrewd investment decission to spread your investment capital over a broad spread of companies.

CPS - Excellent news, the last time you sold some the price more than doubled!! I have been watching SNRP for a bit now, seems to be hovering just under 20p now, but don't have any loose cash and don't want to sell anything I have. Really appreciate you giving everybody fair notice, could be a buying opportunity for some of us. No-one can exactly describe you as jumping ship if you are continuing to hold a 1m shares. Bet somebody will though. Best of luck with SNRP.

I am going to sell down to 1 mil shares and hold for the long term 3 years min.

I have put a significant amount from here and my regency profits into SNRP.

Its worth a look, if you can get hold of any significant amount. I have aquired 1 mil there over in the past week.

Beagle...cheers for that,i took some off the table here similar situation to yourself with the 5p an all that,i now have 50k left which i will hold, got myself 100k in HRE and will just sit back now for news,i'm with marab in thinking TW with all the leverage capabilities and clout in the city he has, can do alot more with our money than we could ever hope for,and to me both sp's have found the floor now...gl

leedsu....No I have not sold all. Still 50k to go but not taking less than 3.25p at which I sold the rest recently. Actually I sold my first lot at 5p. Wish I'd dumped the lot, but I don't think the market wanted them at the time. Foolishly I hung on!

TW doesn't seem to waste anything, be it cash or words. It does give you a bit more confidence when people respond to information requests, and you couldn't accuse TW of evasive replies.

HRE has just bounced up 13% as overhang seems to have cleared. I am hoping that DXR will do better once TW gets into action.

leedsu36 - Cheers for that. Sanity isn't a problem, my invisible friend and my giant rabbit Harvey cover that for me. I am always happy to debate either side of an argument, when people put forward both views it makes it easier to make your mind up, and even if you make a mistake it encourages other people to get involved in the discussion. Even Pwhite makes a good point now and then. (I may edit that last bit out.) While I do hold a decent amount of shares here I certainly wouldn't want anyone to make a decision on that fact alone. It only means that I am prepared to risk money here and nothing else. If I was a smart investor I would have bought and sold a few times and had a bigger holding. I would also have had a bigger capital gains tax burden, so I am trying to find places to park money for the longer term. The size of someone else's investment shouldn't sway you one way or another, except perhaps TW's Funds in DXR. If I vanished off this board no-one would know if I made or lost money but TW's interest is documented. There are a lot of posters out there who apparently have never lost money. Some of them might even be telling the truth.

I have shares here and HRE, another of TW's concerns and am literally betting that he will increase the value of both. It will be interesting to see how they look 6 months from now. Silver and gold, hopefully among the right places to be in 2011.
