I dropped an email to TW regarding the theory that his Funds might be delaying news to buy more DXR on the cheap. I received the following reply.

"If we were doing so we would have to declare given current holding. You can quote me on that and also that I am pushing Nomad to act asap

T"

So who to listen to, Pwhite or TW? You make a choice and hope for the best. Would be nice to know if Pwhite has ever recommended a share.

Anyone in DXR who wants to sell now should look back at the older posts. We have been here before. No news, share price drifts down. I bought some today at 0.65p less than TW's last fund purchases here. I feel more than comfortable with that.

In my opinion, this is no longer a cash shell, it is an investment company waiting for approval to invest. I would bet that the current delay is not because TW and co are deliberately delaying events because they want to buy more shares on the market, as I cannot see how it would benefit his reputation to have that made common knowledge. Silver is rising faster now and the time to make money is at the beginning of a trend and not at the end, so I would further bet that TW is not enjoying this delay any more than we are.

Pwhite has raised points that many will be considering so it all comes down to a basic question - Will TW dilute the NAV by giving his mates cheap investment deals?. I have insufficient information on TW's past deals to make a decision on that basis and would welcome some input. I personally am betting £30k here that he will deliver. Upside I get an increase in share value, downside I have something to set against my capital gains. TW gets paid on increase in NAV and he gets paid in shares. If the share price goes down because investors feel they are being ripped off, then where is the profit to TW? What does that do to his finance raising abilities in the future?

The share price is going down because of boredom and uncertainty which is understandable. For some it will be a buying opportunity.

Edit - Just read my own post and have bought another 126,036 at 3.15p.

AIM companies for the very reasons quoted by TW do not hold rights issues. What they do is place shares with bucket shop market makers that costs absolutely nothing.

From TW, in the header.

Q Is there going to be a rights issue to raise additional funds or a open offer with a discounted placing?
A That will be a decision for directors. However as a major shareholder, I will make my views clear and they are that
a) Any funding must be non dilutive- i.e. at a premium to NAV
b) A rights issue/ open offer is a very expensive process – one that passes wealth from investors to greedy City advisers – and should thus be avoided.

I would also say that while DXR would clearly welcome new funds at a premium to NAV as the larger its portfolio the smaller (in percentage terms)are its fixed (and I hope slashed ) PLC costs it can deliver on the business plan with existing funds so there is no pressure at all for a dilutive issue.

"What a pile of poo this company...."

There is no company here yet, it is still a shell. Like many AIM outfits it is highly likely the real money to be made from the owners is through the issuance of shares at a discounted price. The monies accumulated this way can by far outweigh their initial investment. So anybody who thinks that a share price of 3.8p is some sort of support level is gravely mistaken.

What a pile of poo this company is. Managed to shift all but 50k over the last few sessions but nobody wants these at present. If they get down to 2.5p I might get back in however.

No BB poster no matter how big they think they are can do damage to a stock. All they can do is use their knowledge and experience to shine a light on the subject matter.

The only people who can really do damage to a stock are the board of directors.

leedsu36 - Nope, still here. Haven't sold a single share. I bought more when TW got involved and will stay here and see what happens. Been here before with the Landers, no news, share price goes down. If it gets down low enough I will buy some more maybe. I currently have 1.4% of the issued shares which is a huge amount for me, but if TW can't find a few good deals out there then he should be looking at early retirement. I think silver will be for 2011 what gold was for 2010 and I am betting that TW has a better eye for a bargain than I do. If I do sell any I will let the board know, but certainly not thinking about doing it.

A few good deals and the share price will bounce back up, look at the deal HRE made with Ascot Mining. That's the reason I am still here, hoping for more of the same. I doubt very much that TW and co are dragging their feet in order to buy more shares. Silver seems to be rising twice as fast as gold and I would expect TW to get the cash to work as soon as possible. I don't know him so I might be completely wrong, but I doubt if he is happy sitting back watching the DXR price slide. Time will tell, and I don't blame anybody for selling out to go to greener pastures. If enough of you keep selling off you might be able to buy back cheaper before any news comes out.
