16/12/2010 17:30 | moormoney - Last week would have been better. We are still only at NAV or there abouts so room for a bit of growth after the 7th. Just one good deal like Ascot would be very good for the share price. Might yet drift back down again due to boredom, you never know with this share. DYOR no advice intended. | marab
16/12/2010 16:45 | Kennyruss, I invested in RRR at around the 1.25p level after visiting your BB and realised a handsome profit. Could I ask you to have a quick look at BIP and tell me your feelings?? | andybenw
16/12/2010 16:30 | yes 7th it is---I'm very tempted to add tomorrow. | moormoney
16/12/2010 16:28 | moormoney - 7th. And I wouldn't surprised at an RNS re investments on the same day or pretty shortly thereafter. From the Q and A in the header. Q How long does TW anticipate the company taking before starting to release potential/actual acquisition opportunities? A 30 seconds after the EGM gives clearance. | marab
16/12/2010 16:03 | one thing for sure newbies will pay a lot more to get some shares after TW unveils his plans--roll on a successful egm on the 11th. | moormoney

16/12/2010 15:06 | Has anybody noticed that MVC - another of Kenny's picks - has begun to recover and is moving up nicely the last few days ? | cyprussteve
16/12/2010 15:04 | nice try FD, sticks and stones | kennyruss
16/12/2010 14:44 | and max online offer 50k, at 3.75 - no stock about, this could indeed fly, esepcially with only 50mn shares in issue and cash worth more than market cap lol... actually 30p maybe, that would really make them wince ;-0 sorry guys | fairdeal2008
16/12/2010 14:42 | Ahh looks really ready to fly... perhaps 20p per share so that we can make colin and kenny grimace a bit ;-) | fairdeal2008
16/12/2010 14:39 | wasn't aware that the 15% uplift fee didn't apply to the % held by t1ps etc - every little helps | gurp
16/12/2010 14:35 | its looking like its going to lift off now... then when we get the plans outlined after the egm it will be blow off imho | fairdeal2008

16/12/2010 14:10 | moormoney - We should be covered now for silver here and gold in AHG. I am hoping that REM might do the same for REEs. I bought some subscription shares for GCL which might do the trick. | marab
16/12/2010 13:53 | leedsu36 - You are right again. At least we have a date now, and that might explain the recent buying. You could get out of AHG and back in here. Or better still, hold both. | marab
16/12/2010 13:43 | thanks beginner all the ducks lined up for 7th Jan--I hope 2011 is a good one. | moormoney
16/12/2010 12:48 | marab FWIW,it will all come good here,it's simple really, you just have to have the patience,i didn't and sold, put the money into AHG coz i think they're at a more advanced stage than here and nothing much will happen here till new year when i will be back. | leedsu36
16/12/2010 10:39 | drago - I agree with all your points. TW is new to me, but I have seen occasional snippets about his funds financing stocks and getting free warrants in return. Not only does he tend to get in at low prices anyway but the warrants amplify the potential future returns. I am a great lover of warrants. That is why I continue to stay here as I hope he can do a few deals like the Ascot one at AHG (Athol Gold). We only have three choices here, buy, sell or hold. My average buy price here is higher than the current share price but am more than happy to wait. Been here since the Landers showed up and I bought some more above 5p when I found out that TW was involved. Not inclined to sell as TW hasn't started yet. Because I have decided to wait and see, I don't really care what the daily share price is (although obviously wish I hadn't bought over 5p as I could now buy them cheaper). A paper loss isn't a real loss until you sell. I have also been impressed at how quickly TW responds to emails. His answers are always very short and answer the questions raised as long as they don't refer to sensitive information not in the public domain. There are mixed views on TW but when someone as obviously busy as he is takes time to answer Joe Punter's emails it does give me a bit of confidence. I am also encouraged by the simple fact that if he doesn't continue to raise the NAV here he gets nowt. The fact that I have a reasonable share holding here and am prepared to wait and see should not influence anyone's decisions here. I might be totally wrong. Apologies for the essay. | marab |
