Research will show you that he has mainly bought shares in company placings and debt, i.e., the money goes into the company and not to the market.

Come on Nigel, if you believe in this company put your hand in your pocket and buy a small chunk, say 3-5 million.

BigTSorry you are finding this difficultThe company I have been talking about is MoPowered Group pic. When it was listed on AIM in December 2013, it's CEO was Dominic Keen. The Imperialise pension fund was the largest holder before and after listing. If you look at DEMG accounts you will see that they retain Nigel Keen through Imperialise Limited. The shares subsequently lost over 99% of their value despite emergency & deeply discounted fundraisingThis is getting very dull. It was a mess and it was the DEMG chairman who must have lost a lot of moneyTo get to a point we might all be able to agree on... Keen and other non execs have lots of other money and we would welcome some substantial buying in the market to help correct the price so they can get on and sell it for several to many times current share price if not now, then soon and certainly as soon as Brexit solved or shelvedMrC (donning the blue helmet)

So Gumption or MrC haven't come up with the actual name of the company they are referring to and haven't clarified which Nigel Keen they are really talking about!

I think this duo are competing with the House of Commons for a comedy award.....

Yes, that is indeed a different Nigel Keen. He is in his 50s, not 70s and looks quite differentNot sure where you are going with this, but shame the TV guy is also a different one

MrC2u,

Let me give you one example:

Nigel Keen the NED at Bovis Homes is not the same Nigel Keen who is Chairman of Deltex Medical.

BigTWell, really didn't think it was the same one who was a director on Hollyoaks for 20 years, but should have looked harderGumption hasn't commented (shame on him), but I lazily assumed it was our man on the irrelevant basis that his son was the CEOHuge egg on my face if it was the telly bloke and will teach me to cut corners to dyor. Or should that be dmor?MrCPS he did Brookside, The Bill, Coronation Street and Grange Hill as well but no mention of 'ODM: the truth', a 986 parter with, inevitably, that smarmy nasally Scottish bloke as narrator and a blonde lederhosen wearing Dutch man as Madame Doppler, heir(ess) of the famous Austrian scientist from AustriaBut you might have a point, I was only guessing

Are there more than one?

--> Yes (in terms of holding director positions), some basic research would have told you that.

Are there more than one?Or should that be 'is there more than one'?There is only one MrC but would it be rude to think your name suggests at least 19 other BigTs?

MoPower

Surely not the Hong Kong Mopower battery Company Ltd based in Hong Kong or may be Shenzhen (just outside Hong Kong)?

GumptionDo you mean MoPower?Spectacularly bad investment, but not by me so bullet dodgedCan't work how much Nigel put in to that one but he will have lost almost all of whatever it was: listed at 100p and needed rescuing at 5p in months. Now stable at less than 1p and Keen jnr was stood down in short orderLooks like there was a massive profits warning just weeks after listing. Surprised there wasn't more of a scandal as sounds like AIM at its worstMrC

Janatha - yes yes and yes. Nigel is well Overdue his P45 from this company - it needs a breath of fresh air (new NEDs snd Chair) - not the stale tripe he has been forcing throughZ maybe cast an eye over how much money Nigel put into his son’s ill fated ventures. It puts his judgement at question.

Agreed.

Nigel, who in fairness has topped up before and now owns 10% +, could buy another couple of million and,as you say, so could some of the NEDs, as a sign of confidence in the company going forward.

Maybe John Reilly might step in again as he was buying at much higher levels and DM has now delivered as promised.

I think you mean the BOD which includes some very wealthy people. Management are a lot cheaper than their 'friends and neighbours' over at LIDApart from the Chairman, no NED has bought any since last fundraise so about time they put up or pushed offMrC

Would be nice if management gave a vote of confidence from their well remunerated pockets and hoovered up a few million shares.
