The current market cap is completely and utterly ridiculous. One times turnover for a cash flow positive medical device company with a superior and improving technology is just way too low; the price could double and it would not be unreasonable.

Good stuff, considering the positive operational progress being made, we have come back a long way...

Only 1 MM left on 1.15 (Peel Hunt) and the next best is 1.235 p so a rise is imminent IMHO.

The shares from the exercise of options are new shares and so will not appear as a trade on the log.

Not sure if this is part of the recent 1.25m options shares which were due on the 24/10, or are these new buys? Hope their the latter!

And another 500k.....where do they get all the shares from!

That 1 million buy must have cleared out the available shares from the MMs. When I got the RSP prices earlier there was only around 775k offered at 1.15....

Yes, I noticed those too. I hope they continue as we really need to leave this level.

Looking encouraging again. There have been a series of buys over the last week albeit mostly smallish. I don't think it will take much to get the price going in the right direction. Lest we forget there is no doubt that DEMG is a potential takeover target for a big medical device company with Edwards the favourite.

Good spot - I was getting my wires crossed (pun intended) with bait as in fish on hook. Can’t imagine why that was on my mind.

bated

...not entirely unrelated to the word "abate", e.g. "the storm abated", lessened in intensity, faded away.

Janatha / nice idea but that would involve NK doing something constructive rather than just chucking the deckchairs arbitrarily off the deck when the NEs get twitchy. I wait with baited breath to see what will happen next (ignoring the obvious / iceberg!)

Someone for whatever reason is keeping to Sp suppressed, just look at the 10-13k sell most days against the 100k buys yet no Sp movement, today someone sells 200k and the Sp drops 4%+, I don't think because of the lack of volume someone is "shorting" DEMG, but could be that theirs about the be a cheeky offer for the company!!

Nigel Keen bought nearly 8.7m shares at 1.125p back in 05/02/19; since then, DM has more than done what it said on the tin. If Nigel was to buy another chunk of say 5m shares it would demonstrate, to the market, enormous and ongoing confidence in DM and the SP, which is in the doldrums, would take off.

Was that number in binary? That would be almost sixty four shares. Nothing to sing about, unless you happen to be The Beatles.

If the number was in hexadecimal, it would be over a million, which would be a bold move.

Small scale but I think it is time to get back in here, we clearly have a sustainable base line and now just need some icing on top...!

Oh, do please ask.
Cue the sound of sabre6's brain boiling.

I did something similar with my employer's shares several years ago. It was a "government-approved options-related share savings scheme".

They fixed an option price, then we could put in a fixed amount of money each month (taken from post-tax salary).

At the end of the investment period (we had a choice of 3 years or 5 years) the money could be either returned to me, or used to buy shares at the previously-defined option price. These shares were eligible to be transferred directly into an ISA as long as it didn't blow away my yearly ISA limit.

It depends if they are approved or non approved options. The former are subject just to CGT whereas the latter to income tax.

What are the tax implications for an ex-employee exercising options?

A long time ago I got shares in IBM (my then employer) at below market price: the price was fixed when the right to buy was granted, and the decision to buy taken later after the price had risen. My memory is that no tax was owing when the shares were bought, but CGT was potentially payable when the shares were sold.

However, it was a long time ago. The rules may well have changed, or I may be misremembering.
