Jeez you just project no end don't you whichever profile you use.Why do you have several accounts how about answering that?Yes I set out the risks that were very real..I tend to look at the risks of holding investments rather than ignoring them.

Notice kooba doesn't ever deny me making the bull case here at 40p, nor does he deny aggressively opposing it. He can't. It's all here on record... The only reason the narcissist repeatedly says I was just lucky, is because otherwise he would have to admit he got it wrong. And that's not what narcissists do... :)

Your case whoever you are now it's difficult to know as you have multiple avatars was that everyone should ignore the risks that were as clear as day ..that is not a argument used by anyone but a fool. The risks were reduced significantly when the new Chair nailed agreements to stabilise the finances that the previous one had failed to do or even recognise until it was almost too late. Do grow up.

Pathetic is having two free accounts and exposing yourself . Shame.

Pathetic is being incapable of admitting you were wrong, pal, then hiding behind downticks... . Are you claiming I didn't make a clear buy case here at 40p, which you repeatedly opposed? :)

It is the board and majority of shareholders who will decide if a takeover is pitched at an acceptable level. Being the largest shareholder gives CRS a seat at the table but they do not decide on an acceptable take out price. I agree though that on a timescale point of view if CRS was offered a level that reflected the strategic value well ahead of the markets fundamental valuation they would along with other frustrated institutions who ousted the last Chair grab it with both hands.

Note that kooba doesn't deny that I was here at 40p, clearly making a case for buying the shares, nor does he deny repeatedly opposing it.:: He calls it luck, because the only alternative for the little narcissist is to admit he was wrong... ATB

Worrying about it sadder. If you can't afford premium for live prices and news alerts I understand.

Not accepting there has been a significant change in the companies financial position since earlier in the year , when the auditors were warning of material threats to the business and the then management scrabbling around to avert breaching banking covenants shows who is wet behind the ears. There was a strong possibility of a distressed fundraise with unsupportive institutions ignoring that is the schoolboy error of novices. You got lucky doesn't happen often if you ignore risks.

Wigmammer- the Times article was written by Alistair Osborne, its Chief Business Commentator:
It's an objective opinion by an experienced expert- but obviously he's not nearly as astute or objective as you.

Agnes - as stated, I will move on when I feel like it. I don't want to discuss other ideas here precisely because this is the DLAR board.... We do not know how the Times story was sourced. It is quite possible that Crystal Amber themselves advocated publishing a story in the national press that says how wonderful they are.. Or are you totally wet behind the ears? ... ATB

Kooba

Crystal Amber are winding down and returning money to shareholders. They have quite a large shareholding which would have to be sold over an extended period potentially depressing the share price over this period. If they want to complete their wind down of activities then it would be in their interest to dispose of DLAR shareholding quickly and so potentially result in an undervaluation of the company as a whole. That is the rationale as they have a shorter t term view potentially than other shareholders. This is not to say it will happen it just increases the likelihood,

Wigwammer, I thought this was the De La Rue board. You were both shareholders. Now you're not. You chose to sell. That was your right. I asked you for your next good idea- you evaded and instead criticised its largest shareholder- nice!
I'm sure you're a wiser and more experienced commentator than The Times newspaper, which two weeks ago wrote that activism led by Crystal Amber works. Lucky for you that Crystal Amber is listed so you're able to put your money where your mouth is, short its shares and revel in its future downfall and tell us all along the way.
Or maybe it would be better to spread some festive cheer and stop posting on a board and being critical of the cornerstone investor in its rescue funding and now the largest shareholder. Would love to know your next money making idea... Oh I know, far easier to have another rant about Crystal Amber.
