30/11/2005 23:23 | Hi, the share price increase was more to do with the MM wanting to sell stock on the back of good news. They did not want to make a market, you could only sell at the NMS of 200k. Doubt if you will even get that tomorrow. | johnmp
30/11/2005 21:57 | Apologies to all I may have offended. Did any posters actually attend the AGM? I'm sure that we would all appreciate some first hand feedback. Regards. Michael. | michaelmouse
30/11/2005 21:25 | Michael I agree it was an upbeat statement but statto IS NOT IJ Please give it a rest | tom2468
30/11/2005 20:04 | "I am sure Statto isn't IJ." Gary - Fact or conjecture? Just joking. Regards. MM. Rob100. Lazy answer: Yes. | michaelmouse

30/11/2005 18:19 | Michael, how can a fact be "If"? I know you continually to be very optimistic about DTC but there are alternative views. As a shareholder like yourself i sincerley hope that DTC grow. As we are all aware there are a number of institutions with a sizeable stake and we can only hope that are not wrong reagrding their investment in DTC. I will no longer enter into a debate with you whilst you continue to believe i am posting under multiple aliases. I very well know to certain people on this thread and can assure you that I am not InvestorJon. Regards JV | statto10
30/11/2005 17:53 | Statto?IJ? "$200k appears to be significantly less than most had hoped." Conjecture. "Also given the fact that DTC saw fit to auction the doc i would assume that they were expecting better." Conjecture. "I am not aware of the exact numbers but i am sure that the ABBA doc generated greater revenue." Untrue. You do not know this. Sales have not completed. The documentary was also sold to ITV some time ago. Do you know the figures? No you do not. Furthermore, the poker tournament is produced by Iambic. It was clearly stated that Iambic is trading in-line with expectations. IMO Music Suite is of far less significance than Iambic and the Distribution division. Here is a fact that you have tried to ignore. If dtc turn a profit of £750,000 in 2006 then eps are approx. 0.1p giving a forward p/e of 8.25. Given its size, growth prospects and consolidation in the sector, dtc would easily command a p/e of 20 (i.e. share price could achieve 2p by year end). In a recent trading statement we were informed that results may exceed these expectations. Yes, time will tell but I'm holding tightly. | michaelmouse
30/11/2005 16:57 | Michaelmouse, and i suppose your posts are factual!! The Abba doc did generate greater revenues than MJ doc.Fact No mention of when ITV will be shoowing the doc - Fact No mention of Music Suite in trading statement - Fact No mention of Poker tournament nor the anticipated 400k in revenues (GBP not USD!!) - Fact I believe that Chris Hunt expected to receive significantly far more than he has for this. He may have received more than any other doc he has sold in the US but this is about expectations. Regards JV | statto10
30/11/2005 16:50 | Quote from Statto10:- "Given all the commotion surrounding the MJ doc, $200k appears to be significantly less than most had hoped. Also given the fact that DTC saw fit to auction the doc i would assume that they were expecting better. I am not aware of the exact numbers but i am sure that the ABBA doc generated greater revenue. Also no mention as to if and when ITV will be showing the doc." Chief Executive, Chris Hunt said, "Iambic has licensed its Michael Jackson documentary for the highest unit price that any division of Digital Classics has achieved to date for a documentary programme licence in the USA". Statto - Yes you are entitled to your own opinion. However, nothing in your post is factual and all is conjecture on your part. Compare and contrast your comments to Chris Hunt's statement above. | michaelmouse
30/11/2005 16:11 | i know statto10 and can assure you he is not IJ He was at codders wedding!!!!! | tom2468
30/11/2005 15:56 | michaelmouse So i am also IJ am I? Highly amusing and it has to be said predicatable. As soon as i saw your earlier post i was just waiting for you to infer that i was posting under mutiple aliases. Regards JV | statto10
30/11/2005 15:35 | Hello IJ sorry I mean Statto10. Chief Executive, Chris Hunt said, "We are pleased that the DVD label appears to have started very strongly, that Iambic has licensed its Michael Jackson documentary for the highest unit price that any division of Digital Classics has achieved to date for a documentary programme licence in the USA, and that the distribution division is performing well and from a more efficient cost base." Looks encouraging to me! | michaelmouse
30/11/2005 15:19 | Michaelmouse I assume your post 6523 was directed at me. Well i can assure you that i am a genuine shareholder of this company and have been for about 2 years and there are certain other posters on this board who can verify this . Everyone is entitled to there opinion, and i have posted mine with regards to the Trading Statement issued today. Time will tell if these shares are ridiculously cheap. I stand by the comments i made today and the point i made earlier was that the ABBA doc geerated far significant revenues than we have been told about today. We should not forget what the initial expectations were for 2005! Regards JV | statto10 |
