11/2/2019 19:35 | Its rare to get a bullish stAtement from DTG. wINTER has been poor but I still expect us to make targets. At under 8 p/e the shares are still too cheap tiger | castleford tiger
11/2/2019 16:40 | Best avoided between 750 and 1000 range. Opportunities (either way) can materialise only outside it. Next trading update most important - in a long while - as a potential catalyst to wake up the share price! | tongosti

11/2/2019 09:32 | Pathetic..its health and safety madness. I'm sure most punters on the plane would want to get to Tenerife and not be bothered about tea and coffee. Why not hand out some free beers/soft drinks to keep folk happy. | meijiman

10/2/2019 12:55 | Tcg in its current state is probably a good thing.. sell the airline and continue to lose money ... worry of another operator like Virgin taking over would be the business streamlined, run better and recapitilised.. | snorkelparker
09/2/2019 09:01 | It has been thus for years. w1 | woozle1
09/2/2019 08:49 | Still no press comment as to where TUI and TCG market share is going. I am amazed nobody has picked it up. Lets put some meat on the bone. In the year ending march 18 we sold an extra 800,000 extra holidays up from 1.7 to 2.5 million. That's a 45% increase. Current year that ends March we only have currently the first half figures and they were up another 500,000 holidays to 2.31 m. My forecast for year ending 31st march is another 700,000 to get us to about 3.00 million. (That by the way is conservative as last year the figures were 1.81 and another 700,000 in the winter) So I have allowed NO growth during current period So assuming my figures are right a further 25% increase yoy. That's almost a doubling from 1.7m to 3.00m in two seasons and nobody noticed? I expect current year starting April to produce another 500,000 holidays sold. TCG needs to sell it airline to pay down debt but nobody has yet to comment 1) the airline makes money 2) TCG margin has to suffer. Whatever short-term weakness the market may throw at us its just a massive buying opportunity. Very soon DTG and JET2 will be brand leader in the UK. TCG will not survive leaving a big hole. taking a 24 month view I go for £20.00 target. Tiger Tiger | castleford tiger

08/2/2019 11:15 | tresham, there is rarely mention of jet2, which is really hurting TCG. TCG has a legacy business model with legacy costs and cannot compete with Jet2's lower costs. Moreover, unlike O'Leary, Meeson treats his staff well. It may be mean lower profitability but costumers like and they keep coming back. w1 | woozle1
08/2/2019 11:04 | TCG: Banks just desperate to get cash in. Plan: sell airline and run holidays then finally go bust and not pay the new airline for holiday travel? Article in The Times today no mention of Jet2. | tresham
08/2/2019 10:36 | Aneeda and Co, Good news for you chaps. Your TCG share certificates will make excellent loo paper. As a good friend put it, by selling the airline, TCG is now On The Beach but with high street stores. I'm not sure the market has realised that the new TCG will be a loss-making enterprise. w1/lazarus | woozle1
08/2/2019 09:04 | Market sentiment heavily against dtg after tui and Tommy cooks. I plan to buy back in after my heavy top slice at ten quid but not sure we are yet at the bottom. Tricky timing as ever.... | shaker44
08/2/2019 08:49 | If at all possible we will book our holidays with Jet2, their customer service is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. | dan de lion
07/2/2019 22:30 | We'll know in a couple of weeks | hatfullofsky
07/2/2019 19:54 | Strong SELL | castleford t1ger
07/2/2019 19:51 | CH, TUI is shrinking, why consider owning it when you can simply own more DTG? TCG isn't even worth a considered mention. It's just a matter of time until J2 become Europe's biggest and best holiday maker. DTG is a phenomenal company with a phenomenal ability to generate eye watering sums of cash. | tongostl
07/2/2019 19:10 | Aneeda, it must be your bedtime. Good night. w1 | woozle1
07/2/2019 18:58 | 300p or much less in 18 months time for Pikey Airways. The accounts are not perfect, Oops. | aneeda avadump |
