21/2/2019 10:31 | Switzerland's good for ending it all! But yes, they were very strange people when I last went there. | sf5
21/2/2019 01:49 | Generally speaking, it is a boring place and one can also come across a very insular mindset. Can still see why it can be great for some but it never did it for me. | tongosti
20/2/2019 22:13 | Just kidding...! | sogoesit
20/2/2019 21:49 | Have to disagree Tiger | castleford tiger
20/2/2019 21:38 | Switzerland only good for holding gold... and the swissie! Otherwise it's bloody expensive. ;-) AIMV No advice intended ;-)! | sogoesit
20/2/2019 19:49 | Maybe they are pitching for some of tcg’s assets | woozle1
20/2/2019 19:38 | I think the update, if it comes, will be conservative but not problematic. My assumption is that it is later than "normal" because the numbers are neither better than expected or worse - just on track. | pullup
20/2/2019 18:15 | Strong SELL | castleford t1ger
20/2/2019 17:04 | Switzerland is good! Tiger | castleford tiger
20/2/2019 14:26 | Shoe shiner back in town - where are you applying your shining skills these days: Canary Wharf or Liverpool St? MWAHPs. You never replied to my question on that half wit comment you made on Charlie Ellis's book did you sweetheart? | tongosti
20/2/2019 12:42 | It's half term and no school for Tongo & aliases. w1 | woozle1
20/2/2019 12:36 | Safe to say that update better be good for those who are already long. Sitting this out at the moment with a potential re-entry (either way, depending on circumstances then) in mind post trading update. | tongosti
20/2/2019 08:36 | Dart will issue an update when they have a pretty good idea on numbers ..not based on a fixed date .. | snorkelparker
20/2/2019 08:35 | And a seriously damaged TCG who need to sell the profitable bit to survive. We have a full vertical integration. Tcg will lose control as they can hardly tell a buyer what to do and expect a good price. Tiger | castleford tiger
20/2/2019 08:32 | 2017 trading update was on the 5th April. ..so I wouldn't hold your breath now.. it was positive commentary and also provided guidance on the next years forcast... may be they are holding back to get a better picture of summer bookings or Brexit | snorkelparker
20/2/2019 08:06 | The timing is a little later than last year, perhaps they’re stalling if they are considering expediting their expansion to Birmingham airport in the wake of Flybmi going under. They have slots. Also, I still think easyJet’s approach to using holidays to mop up remaining seats on their existing flights is rubbish, and they should increase the capacity on the holiday routes and sell proper packages like Jet2. Perhaps ezj will try and buy the jet2 division from dtg, or make s hostile bid for the lot and strip it out. It’s that or spend five years trying to steal market share from jet2 who are just too strong. If ezj are planning that, they should do it quick before there’s less competition around and the competition commission, or whatever they’re called these days. 993 | smcmahon993993
19/2/2019 15:41 | Try e mailing the company direct? Gary brown is always helpful. I still think this or next week we will get one Tiger | castleford tiger
19/2/2019 11:30 | EZJ are a bigger threat but are years behind Jet2 even if the new CEO is from TUI and has a background in the package holiday business. That said, Tui's strategy has been to own holiday assets and it remains to be seen what exactly they do. I just checked the EZJ holiday website and you still have to arrange your own transfer and there does not appear to be in resort support. Moreover, the luggage options are the same as the airline, unlike Jet2 who provide an allowance in the price. w1 | woozle1
19/2/2019 11:10 | Well we didn't get a trading update yesterday or today, which we did in 2018. I did mail twice the investors email on website, and it bounced twice. Not happy about this, not a good way to treat shareholders with legitimate questions. BTW - Ryanair has closed its Ryanair holidays operation. I suspect easyJet will make a much better go at its tour operator business than Ryanair, and it certainly represents the largest competitive threat to Jet2. I am glad that in the recent Boeing interview, that the CEO recognised the threat, much better than dismissing them. | fokker45
18/2/2019 19:36 | Stay in cash. | blueball
