05/2/2002 09:58 | In the US yesterday the stock found support at the 5d ma at 2.59c and resistence at the upper bollinger band at 2.98c. Since the breakout from the dollar mark the share price has been trading between the upper bollinger band and the 10d and recently the 5d ma. The 10d ma is at the 2.42c and may well be tested at some point today. The uptrend is still intact and a period of consolidation is to be expected after a tripling of the share price. Any major dips will be bought into due to the fact that the stock is fundamentally undervalued. A market cap of £100m for a profitable £1.2 billion turnover company with 30m in the bank.......is not exactly stretching the over valued parameters..... IMHO | ![]() forfaiter
05/2/2002 09:51 | Usual morning dip over here also, whilst US maket closed. | itstelboy
05/2/2002 09:49 | This Enron thing is just a short-term crisis like Sep 11. Soon the yanks will realise that not every company on the stock market is going to go under due to creative accounting, and then things will turn up again. Probably a good time to buy. IMO. | ![]() mooch
05/2/2002 09:37 | paulm1 - I hope I didn't give the wrong impression. I too am holding. | webley
05/2/2002 09:31 | Webley What i ment was lot more sells than buys and since the opening 3.75 markdown it had only gone down another 3/4 although now 1p so i thought it was holding up well concidering.Bid now down 1p.I will still be holding as i am still on a nice profit as i have held over a year from 16.56p. | paulm1
05/2/2002 09:26 | 4 out of 5 mms marked down bid/offer with 'sells' outnumbering 'buys'. Down to 44p/46p from yesterdays 48.5p/51p.Looking for support from US and Nasdaq this p.m. | ![]() lex1000
05/2/2002 09:04 | paulm1 - "only down 3/4 on the sells" - please be careful. The bid has not moved, it is the offer that has dropped - ie the spread has narrowed. | webley
05/2/2002 08:56 | Lets hope so Conc2.Only down 3/4p on the sells from the opening markdown so on the whole holding quite well. | paulm1
05/2/2002 08:48 | be back to 50p soon | conc2
05/2/2002 08:40 | Marked down by over 4p. MMs must be taking the p??s. Who do they think they are fooling, obviously some of us. | nickward
05/2/2002 08:00 | 3 on bid 1 on offer - they want your stock cheaply! | webley
05/2/2002 07:52 | L2 WINS 44-47 - US = 48.75p | serious punter
05/2/2002 07:51 | I advise everyone to read the Yahoo bb before making any decisions this morning. It gives an intraday chart. This shows the stock dipped severely mid-day at the same time as the whole of the nas - it then recovered to finish just 2% down. Enron et all is still hanging over the market. The bb posters are still bullish - with the exception of a self confessed shorter of the stock. Many people bought on the dip. I suspect we will see some fun and games from the mms to try and pick up stock that they can sell back to us at a substantial profit. Shorters will be rubbing their hands. I always consider selling and buying back more cheaply - on any stock - but this share price shifts rapidly and, I believe, there will be a hefty spread. It is already marked down severely to help the panic & trigger stop losses. | webley
05/2/2002 07:50 | IMHO DANKY did reasonably well on the NAS yesterday. NAS down 55 DANKY down but on its way up. At one point yesterday it hit $2.62 - Now $2.73. | serious punter
05/2/2002 06:42 | Where next for Danka? I'm back in with a small holding at 49 so what I'm thinking after yesterday's lacklustre performance is not necessarily what I want. The excitement prior to and just after the release of the Q3 numbers has dissipated. It will need strong director buying/ heavy tipping/ a positive statement re Q4 and beyond/ and or firm institutional interest to raise Danka's price. Think otherwise this sentiment driven stock will go into slow or spectacular decline. If it reaches the ludicrous sub 20p levels seen last year and before it will just become a 'tuck away'stock until the excitement returns. | ![]() votiem
04/2/2002 23:39 | nas close 2.62-2.80 2.73 last. | bbbb
04/2/2002 22:05 | Still seems pretty volatile at the moment! I was thinking of increasing my holding but I think I'm also going to wait and see what happens tomorrow. | smoketrader
04/2/2002 21:46 | From my posting no. 866 I will be more than happy if Danky can build support above $2.75 as I play long and partly day trading. From my posting no. 899 … nice if danky could break $3 today. cheers. The fact is that danky did not pass $3 yet and still trying to find support between $2.58 and $2.99 amid bad condition of the market . See what will happen tomorrow but could mislead to judge the downturn based on daily data when the market is in the deep red. IMO. I intended to start going out & in but today’s margin was low (percentage wise). | oaklandsway
04/2/2002 18:02 | SP Now down 7.5 %. Looks more serious to me, but I'll take your word for it :-) | ![]() mooch
