04/2/2002 13:50 | Its just a little bit of early week tree shaking and consequent profit taking. Fact: DNK is still undervalued. Fact: The trend is still sharply north. | jbat
04/2/2002 11:25 | Excellent post from BullyRallystocks on the US yahoo DANKY board Deserves re-posting here LOL Jim Price-to-cash-flow ratio well below ind by: bullrallystocks Long-Term Sentiment: Strong Buy 02/03/02 11:22 pm Msg: 20920 of 20921 DANKA's Price-to-cash-flow ratio well below industry average Alert Description This alert signals that a company's price-to-cash-flow ratio has fallen at least 25% below the average for its industry. Some analysts consider cash flow as perhaps a company’s most important financial barometer, and the ratio of stock price to operating cash flow is favored by many over the price-earnings ratio as a measure of a company’s value. Operating cash flow -- which is comprised of net earnings minus preferred dividends plus depreciation -- is arguably the best measure of a business’s profits. A company can show positive net earnings and still not be able to pay its debts. It’s cash flow that pays the bills. The lower a company's price-to-cash-flow ratio and the bigger its discount from the industry average multiple, the more likely that the firm may be undervalued. Price-to-Cashflow DANKY - $2.50 S&P500 - $15.70 IKN - $10.10 XRX - $13.30 At this time Compared to peers DANKY is UNDERVALUED by 400% to 600% based on Fridays close. Danka is just Beginning to Capitolize on new cost saving efficiencys, many such as Oracle have yet to take effect. Danka shareholders are holding one of the most undervalued just now becoming discovered companys around. Plenty of room for UPTRENDING!!!BRS | jimmy28

04/2/2002 10:41 | Okay. But the fall is due to the sells. Small volume too.... | dsmith626
04/2/2002 10:09 | shortage of stock refers to the mms holdings - you can have an excess of sales on one day and the mms still be short of stock relative to what they wish to hold in their 'bank'. | webley
04/2/2002 10:02 | Can't be that short of stock, mostly sells today, hence the fall. | dsmith626

04/2/2002 09:17 | bought 20000 at @49p, sold 20000 at @46.8p, loss of £525, i'll be back!! | rebel
04/2/2002 08:58 | morning all. Very dissappointed that there wasn't any weekend press. Trades end of Friday & today seem to be people profit taking & the MM's are probably glad that they are getting a bit of stock. I agree with the consolidation theory, but may see it drop back to 40p or so, in which case i'll get some more. have a good day all. | ![]() recruiter
03/2/2002 15:49 | Good news from WEF in New York; The Siemens' president said that IT spending will increase(I am sure to include spending in office equipments). The head of the International Monetary Fund has told a meeting of the World Economic Forum in New York that he believes the world's economy is heading for recovery. Horst Koehler, IMF managing director, said: "I think we have to state that the global economy is still weak but we also now hope - and I call it cautious optimism - that really a recovery is under way". Cand chief executive Dr Heinreich von Pierer forecasts that the growth in IT will return, but they are unlikely to see levels of growth seen at the height of the boom. "We will not return to growth rates of 40% (for IT spending), this is unrealistic and most probably also unhealthy," he told the BBC's World Business Report. | oaklandsway
03/2/2002 13:29 | I've been holding since 24p. Would love to buy more on any fallbacks. If there are further corrections, can anyone guesstimate how low it might drop. sub 40p, sub 35p? Where is the floor for this share? | bimula
03/2/2002 10:41 | Ditto all the above comments. Dankaschön. I think it's likely that it will enter a period of consolidation again, but I'm hoping to see continuing price movement tomorrow and Tuesday (at least) | smoketrader
03/2/2002 10:05 | Hi everyone, looking forward to another good week of Danka? Anyone got any thoughts as to how it might go this week? My feelings are that there could either be a short period of consolidation before any more upward movement, or further buying, after the news has got around over the weekend giving yet more rises. Either way, the only way is up, it's just a matter of when, and how far IMO. | itstelboy
03/2/2002 00:38 | oaklandsway: made good profit from dnk, thanks for the tip, will probably get into it again on monday. what are your views on twt i have got 100k of them know, should i sell out on a rise or do you still see it going up to £1 as you thought before regards jag | ![]() jagluthra
02/2/2002 23:13 | jag, atsuresh & all of you, I also personally thank that many of you bought DNK because each contribution had pushed the price up until finally was revealed that the company is really well heading to recovery. Now, you all deserve to enjoy profit from your investment. I am still here and will enjoy the fun. all the best. PS. for jag, the telco sector is being hit badly as egs, ntl & big co in usa are in trouble financially. many people are still feared with what had happened to atn, red, etc. i am sure you will make profit if you paid 46p for twt but to get £1 will take time. if you ask me to chose among twt, egs and thus at their current price level then i will take twt but next time i will describe the detail imo. | oaklandsway
