01/2/2002 00:28 | From Yahoo bb I am betting that net income goes positive and here's why - Xerox reported a sequential rise in net income of approximately 10%. Last quarter they reported a decline of 13% and DANKY came in with an approx. 15% decline. Assuming Xerox is an indicator of revenue trends, DANKY possibly has a revenue increase of 8-10% sequentially. If the margins remain close to 34% and the SGA comes down by another $5 million from last quarter - boom - 21 million in EBITDA and, after interest expense, and taxes, close to 10 million in the black. $ 4 here we come !!!!!!! | webley

31/1/2002 19:26 | Would someone who knows what they are doing mind looking at www.viwes.com it shows shorts in the US. I'm not sure if I am reading it right but it looks as if there is a 1.2million short that needs to be cleared. If that is the case then lots more buying required. Or it could mean that some desperate person/institution is going to do their damndest to get the price down. Or it could just be that I am completely wrong. Any views please. | webley
31/1/2002 19:08 | Went out at +3p about 14;15 came back at 15;00 +1.5,think I saved myself a heart attack as I missed the big dip.Phew. | paulm1
31/1/2002 18:57 | Are we to expect some more tree shaking in the morning? mm/desperate shorters who are facing a loss unless they can get the price down. New intraday high in the US 2.58 on 738,600. | webley
31/1/2002 17:45 | Yep, that 100k buy ended the day on a positive note. Went with my instincts, after a quick view of the report at 13.30, and ignored the dip. Made a quick cup of tea, came back to see the buys coming in and bought some more. I would have prefered it going straight to 55+. It's possible that potentialy larger buyers deliberatly induced panic selling to pick up speculative amounts at cheaper prices. If this is the case we may see some very large buys in the next few days now that they've seen 20% today and the US putting in a strong performance this evening. | nix100 |
