have not traded as yet but waiting shall post when i do,
oak dnk said 5m left to be spent for this fiscal yr on oracle in us, so i would imagine about 1.7m in each quarter or 5m in last but hopefully no other writeoffs this quarter, what is your estimate of earnings this quarter, i think results should be around 1st aug correct me if wrong

pistonbroke1, it could be not a write-off. You should remember that Danka had spent $20m for Oracle but only put one write-off about $7.8m (if I am not mistaken) in Q4 but did not appear explicitly in previous quarters. So, the $5m could not appear explicitly as a write-off.

IMO, Danka USA, Canada & Brazil must make profit better than Europe before considering to sell Danka Europe. If not then selling Danka Europe will mean killing whole company.

pistonbroke1, nice to speak with you again. I am not sure about the rumours of bids for Danka Europe but at the end of this year the Oracle could be installed in Europe. See how this system works in US and prepare yourself to see additional charge of $5m for installation in Canada & Brazil.

Hi Oaks good that your back. The Donkey has been kicking like a mule lateley up, down, up, down, up. There have been a regular number of large buys in the U.K market which have kept the price up. My gut feeling is that something is brewing as it is the U.K. proping up the weak U.S. at the moment. By rights we should have opened in London in the mid 50,s but we were a few pence above that at despite mostly sells this am we moved up.Rumours of bids for Danka Europe may have some grounds but I suspect that with a positive close in the U.S. tonight near the day high we should see the buying continue tomorrow.
