24/5/2002 10:06 | Can't really understand what all the fuss is about. What was everyone expecting from the CC? News that would rocket the shares to $7? Times like these call for a cool head. Firstly, you need to decide if you are gonna TRADE or INVEST in this stock. If you are trading, then short term fluctuations are of paramount importance. This is where the rampers and derampers throw their penny's worth in to try and move a stock. Admittedly, very often it works to move the price and their job is done. They have no real interest in the fundamentals of a company. If you are INVESTING in this stock, then the above is the opposite. You believe that the company is moving forward and its' fundamentals are good. You logically assume therefore that the stock should follow. It does follow, but not in one direction due to the fact that TRADERS are affecting its' performance, in effect creating a false portrait of the true value of the shares. With danky, we have had massive short/long TRADING positions for weeks now. As these traders now pull out, the shares will go through a stabilising period, as only the investors are left in. This is a POSITIVE development imo. The institutions , which were clearly the reason for the CC, have the opportunity to come in and increase their holdings. This will all take time, but the course for the shares is guaranteed. The best thing that has happened over the past few days, is that all the deadwood is almost out of danky. Lang and his men have appealed to the institutions to back him in his efforts, and I feel that they will because he seems to be a good Captain in rough waters. I am still confident as an investor. | ![]() coscos

24/5/2002 08:56 | I thought Lang said they needed to stabilise revenues ?......the institutions will want evidence of this before buying..... imho Remember we are nearly two thirds of the way through Q1 with no mention of any new business.... Investors will be wary of buying ahead of the next results in case they disappoint again on the revenue front..... Also they have extra costs in Q1 including extra finance charges and the repayment of the outstanding $16m notes.... | ![]() forfaiter
24/5/2002 08:51 | FF ........your clutching at straws the trend is firmly down..... If it is trending down, why since 14:30 ET was it trending up, this was further confirmed by after hour trades moving to £3.44 then last trade $3.57, and there were more buys than sells? The CC yesterday was geared for institutions not retail - for that reason alone LL's stance IMHO was spot on | serious punter
24/5/2002 08:49 | after the cc is when one would expect instit buying and with a splendid perfomance as such from ll, and mention of another big contract we could see it sooner than later | ![]() psychicdoc
