dnk is one of my favourite stocks. it has suffered a relapse recently, not surprising given the phenomenal rise it has enjoyed. in my new thread, epic 'fara' i was requested yesterday to provide an opinion on the stock's future movements. those who are into technical analysis may find a thing or two of interst there.

Interest cover is Operating profit before interest and tax divided by interest payable. A low ratio denotes high gearing; though this is not wholly disadvantageous as shareholders can benefit more than proportionately from growth.

how is interest cover calculated ?

also that figure - assume it includes interest on debt already paid off.. if so not accurate as they have half the debt now.

i dont mind bearish comments but to laugh at the price falling knowing full well that people are losing money is macarbre and sinister to say the least.

not to sure but an accountant i know explained it to me once car'nt say i understood it all but it cover's any gearing the co might have mean's the co's should not have any worries .....it is a ratio number

A 400k superbuy message on Thompsonfn site the bigest one we,ve had in some time, also keep an eye on the lycos finance site a lot of sporadic small buys yesterday in timed sequence.
