The trading update is due on Thursday.

I would think there is a good chance that the update will be upbeat, particularly for the next reporting period when these new contracts start to have an impact.

D4T4 hasn't been plain sailing since I first bought shares at 135p in 2016. Between July 17 and March 18 the shares were sold off and eventually dipped below 100p 13 months ago.
I'm generally long gone once a stock falls 20% from my purchase price, so continuing to hold was outside my normal operating principles.
In my experience, making exceptions often costs a lot of money.
Although it's financially rewarding, I do find investing challenging and tedious most of the time.
If you find investing enjoyable, then I'm envious of you.

Blimey if you think a tripling of the share price in 3 years is tedious your expectation must be somewhat higher than mine. I only invest in potential 10 baggers but am prepared to wait. D4t4 has been one of the more exciting investments.

Some of it was scary but I never found it tedious!

We have a TU on 18/4 which might provide the next point of interest and possible share price movement.

A lot more upside = quite likely
Short term = possibly not

I've been here three years and it's been a long tedious road.
Look for short-term action here and you are likely to get bored and move on.
Companies with multi-bag potential need plenty of time to play out IMHO.

Very good. Protected from Brexit shambles also as most sales dollar denominated. I doubt no deal would be quite as bad as made out. The country rebuilt after bankruptcy in the 1970s to go from sick man of Europe to World leader. It could do the same just a very tough ten years ahead. Probably companies like D4t4 will be a good place to hold money as pound collapses under such a no deal scenario. A long delay seems more likely to me.

This company is going from strength to strength in a very competitive area. The share price should be far higher than it is.
