30/4/2019 07:13 | Another resounding validation of technology with revenues attached from a highly technologically developed country.....doom mongers can go and do one ! RNS Number : 4722X 30 April 2019 CyanConnode Holdings plc ("CyanConnode" or the "Company") Follow-on order for Swedish utility CyanConnode Holdings plc, (AIM:CYAN), a global leader in IoT smart communications technology utilising narrowband Radio Frequency (RF) for smart city solutions, is pleased to announce that it has received a follow-on order from HM Power, for a smart metering implementation for a Swedish utility, worth SEK 8.6 million (GBP700k). Deliveries for this order are expected to commence in Q3 2019 and will continue into future periods. The final roll-out schedule is still being agreed with the customer. The follow-on order, which relates to the order announced on 16 July 2018, was received following the successful completion of a smart metering pilot in Q3 2018, and leverages the functionality of Omnimesh. CyanConnode's solution provides long-range RF communications, which will maximise the resilience of the RF Smart Network in rural areas and will be used for the smart metering of Electricity and District Heating. District Heating is an environmentally friendly method of heating homes, schools and commercial premises. Instead of every premises having its own heating system, heat is produced within the neighbourhood from a centrally located plant, with heat being transmitted to individual premises by a piped fluid. The central plant uses environmentally friendly technology to generate heat and power from many different fuels, including domestic and industrial waste. Björn Lindblom, CyanConnode Chief Commercial Officer, commented: "I am pleased to announce this follow-on order, which validates HM Power's confidence and commitment to Omnimesh RF Smart Mesh Networks. The smart metering of District Heating further demonstrates the versatility of the Omnimesh platform." - Ends - | multibagger
27/4/2019 20:49 | At least Cyan is not on that list and nor should it be. Cyan is after all a world leading company that has gone from strength to strength since we were fortunate to have JC join and really drive the business forward. I am confident he will show the share price chart at the upcoming investor presentation to show just how well he has done and full credit to him for getting the share price to current world leading value. | lwaxf13
24/4/2019 17:14 | Me thinks next months dog n’ pony show is just more of the same old snake oil sales pitch. The world class management team ramping Cyan stock to mug punters. I hope JC brings the share price chart with him with a little arrow pointing to when he joined Cyan. I will be asking to see the share price chart and if he does not have it I will for free (no consultancy fee) show him how to use the world wide thingamabob to find the world leading share price chart. | lwaxf13
24/4/2019 13:35 | The Cyan mouthpieces are now peddling the hope that somehow the not selling offerings are in the competitors winning products. How hard is it to grasp that Cyan are not actually world leaders... or global leaders... apart from in Cronin's presentations. Weird. | mtw
24/4/2019 09:41 | I wonder what the investor presentation next month is leading to.... | mtw
24/4/2019 08:48 | I have booked my place so will go along, but as well as looking forward to hearing about the current business and future prospects, I also want to hear an explanation for the January 17th trading statement, when they stated that they would miss (by a mile) the £8m 2018 revenue forecast reported in the last Finncap research note (October 2018). They cannot just brush that under the carpet Finncap Forecast (October 2018) Trading Statement (January 17th 2019) | timbo003
17/4/2019 13:10 | Further big selling... perhaps they know something different to what the cyan mouthpieces are trying to portray ? | mtw
16/4/2019 21:25 | I believe it prudent to use Telefónica | davep4
16/4/2019 21:05 | I believe after 5m SMETS2 installations, (in the Southern & Central Regions), revenue will become meaningful. | davep4
16/4/2019 11:25 | Thanks Davep4 for that valuable snippet of information. So we would need about 2.5m smart meters installed at 20% "not spot", for us to start triggering revenue this financial year (notwithstanding the 60p per RF installation maintenance/support fees). So realistically 2020 financial year for any UK SMETS2 revenues. | multibagger
16/4/2019 09:38 | Connode pre-sold 500k of Licenses, and it’s very unlikely RF installations will get past that figure this year,(Cyan will only receive further License Fees after 500k RF installations). From memory the License Fee is approximately £3.50 per RF installation. However, there is still the royalty which I believe is about 60p p.a. paid when the RF installation goes live. | davep4
14/4/2019 08:35 | Many thanks to Vascular and ImperialLondon on the other thread... Keep track of UK SMETS2 national rollout on Apparently 500k smart meters installed between Jan and 10 Apr 2019, which would mean about 5000 smart meters being installed daily. If 20% are "not spots", then 1000 smart meters being switched on daily with CYAN technology. That sounds like some decent triggering revenues and maintenance contract revenues building. | multibagger
12/4/2019 10:40 | This thread frequently heralds the expertise of Cyan´s directors when it comes to failure but it is good to remember that there are a lot of boards of directors who can be classed as competitors of Cyan in that regard. Take this mob for instance: | orange1
12/4/2019 09:54 | That sounds like a lot of nonsense Fred! | davep4
12/4/2019 08:36 | 'CyanConnode also confirms that trading for the first three months in 2019 has been performing well and is in line with market expectations.'Surely | fred splange
12/4/2019 07:22 | Good Morning Tightfist and all :) The new communication style could be a combination of new leadership, new directors, new nomad, new PR outfit and lessons learned. Also Indian team would have settled into a more steady working relationship and maybe influencing matters here given that they contribute to most of the revenues ? CYAN is looking up and heading in the right direction in any case, despite the recent significant share price drop since placing last year. Various global trade and political matters not helping, but will do so with time. | multibagger
11/4/2019 14:31 | The RNS style of "under promise and (hopefully)over delivery", is probably down to the new Directors? | davep4
11/4/2019 14:25 | I cannot foresee WJ-P standing back and letting it get driven into the wall with JC glued to the wheel. The UK SMET2 installed base will soon become quite valuable (for annuity-style income) and IMO the IP is not without merit and value in Asia. Our MC is down at around £11m.Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
11/4/2019 13:18 | Hi dwall, Interesting debate on the other thread..the bashers seem to be desperately clinging to an ever tinier piece of "hope" that the company will go to the wall and they will be proven right. I think they are unlikely to be able to gloat and will soon have a BMI >40 with their staple of humble pie ! | multibagger
11/4/2019 12:38 | Hi MB Nope, that’s what I would say too anyway. That strategy has certainly been explained as preferable enough times. Maybe it’s Arden and Yellow Jersey advice being implemented. | dwall |
